Fair enough. And I thank you. What's interesting, though, is that the feed-back that I got from friends and/or acquaintances, both in my real life and in these virtual communities I'm in, who actually suffer from various conditions was that they didn't find it offensive at all.
The reason I put the "Trigger" warning is because one person who cycles told me that for her - she loved the video but it's good to have a "trigger" warning because then she can make the choice as whether at this time she feels like watching something. She said that when she is aware of the possiblity that it "could" trigger something then she is able to watch it with awareness. It's only when she is taken by surprise sometimes that it can be bad.
But that aside it was interesting that none of these people watched and thought the "intention" of the maker was to "demean" them. The only people who left posts like that are people who "work" in the field. Which is just an interesting point. And also, by the way, not everyone I know who works in field felt that. Well actually he was spot on. I guess that's really further proof that you don't get my satiric humour at all, my bad. I couldn't possibly disagree with your position more. That someone, for example lets say a bigot toward Muslims, see a video that is a satire on a certain subject - the character happens to be Muslim or seems to be, although the video isnt' really about Muslims.

1. This person doesn't need to miscontrue anything to hold his view. If this same person sees a video about Muslims worshipping or about Muslims shopping he is still going see them through his already held racist view. Not to mention the fact that you are not a mind reader and can only guess what any given person will or will not see in a video (just as Cleverreason said). And lastly...So what? Frankly, my friend, I was more with you when I thought you solely taking up the cause it might offend people with mental illness. But when you said that you weren't so concerned about that (after I somewhat dispelled it by telling of the people I actually know who aren't offended) and that your concern is that some bigot would turn into more of bigot if he saw it...well, that's just absurd.

Why are people praising this guy?! I fail to understand how someone can find amusement in something with rules the lives of REAl people. I work with those suffering from mental health issues everyday, and i am disgusted at this video. It's low, degrading and serves no purpose, apart from mockery and intimidation. It is because of people like yourselves, that our society today is so narrow-minded and naiive to the fullest sense. what a shame...

how odd that you added this video to your favourites? This video is satire. I grew up with mental illenss in my family and we still deal with it on a daily basis, so I did more than "work" with "them".
By the way, "they" also have a sense of humour.

LeSaMilano, thank you so much for pointing that out. I have had several friends who cycle and take medications and I had a girlfriend once who cycled. She was/is an incredibly creative, talented, sharp witted theatrical artist and loves edgy, cagey work and I'm sure would dig this. She is NOT a self-unaware idiot who has to be protected by some social worker.
