I had some minor surgery done a while ago. The Dr told me that the Lidocine/Adrenaline injection he used (Pain/Bleeding control) costs only a few dollars. It's also been used for 60+ years, so it's very safe. There's no excuse for anyone in any country to go through that kind of pain.
