No, that's just the thing - Skrillex is LESS experimental with "dubstep" than anyone else. He just ripped off artists like Calvertron (down to using the same-sounding synth), Rusko, Skream, etc. The moment dubstep started to get heavy, he chose not to add to the scene, but completely imitate it.

...and a pretty lame imitation at that.
