You can be a hypocrite and boot windows to play games and whatnot, but end of the day even your most ridiculously priced mac is on an low-mid end SINGLE 512mb video card that has next to no support for performance improving drivers, worst part is you can't even do a xfire/sli setup to make up for the inadequacy. Your ram is slow, you cannot OC any hardware - how pathetic is that?

I don't get viruses if I have a security software running, on my Mac I did get viruses which were detected by Mcafee for Mac.
I don't actually pay for any upgrade for about 5 years on a Windows machine because they release free updates. On my Mac I have to buy a new operating system every year.
Crossover on Mac is rubbish, I have tried using it and it is not good.
@Cartuner25 The biggest problem with the mac and CrossOver is that is doesn't have much power. I even couldn't play Battlefield Heroes in a litte screen of 1024X768 and run it on low.

@angelusp777 exactly why cant it...im using my desktop pc of 2004 in 2011 and i can still use it to check e-mai, youtube, and play some old games, browse, listen to music etc.... its a functioning computer and while i cant run heavy end animation or etc i can do the basic things most people do with their computers anyway....so exactly why does the majority of consumers who only do basic things need a 1500 computer???
@geodude3000 a mac is the biggest waste of money...if ur deadset on getting a mac or want to use aperture, final cut be my guest but unless ur life is all that its a huge waste of money....i can play all the latest games such as crysis on my custom built gaming rig which rapes the mac pro....only cost $1500 (also i do have a console but pc games own console any day and i like having the ability to play the latest games that come out. mac cant do any of that until it runs windows.
@Cartuner25 You can't run mac apps on pc because apple is a controlling dictatorship when it comes to notebooks.....besides no windows user would ever run mac apps on their pc....they may hackintosh but you don't hear anyone complaining not being able to run mac apps..thats because they dont need to.....windows has so much software available and the only reason mac allows windows apps is because they dont have as much software as windows does
@Cartuner25 and fyi my $750 laptop is similiar to the $1499 macbook pro so i saved around 700-800 give or take....my virus software is free...windows 7 is easy to use....i have all my apps, games and such with no problems...i dont need any sort of mac apps and my computer is far more reliable, and a proper investment of my money....sure i can spend 1700 oin a new mac or i can get a pc for 800 that has more than anyone ever needs

i recomend 100% google chrome. top 5 browser 1 Google Chrome. never slow down and easy access to pages you visit the most.2 safari is fast, but chrome faster and easier. 3 firefox. good brower but after a week start slowing down, in order to keep it faster reinstall it. "i dont like to waste time. 4 or 5 or the last one in any future IE 7 AND 8 same piece of ch*t.

Really installation is faster? I installed Windows 7 on a new laptop and I think it took around 10-20mins.
Leopard took about 1 hour 30 mins to install on my mac.

We spend $1000 for a computer that RARELY gets a virus and never crashes.
You spend $129 for an upgrade in the OS.
