  • even after all this time people are still dumb. it's obviously breakcore the genre Venetian snares is considered under.

  • its genre prog drum and bass

  • drum and bass.

  • what a masterpiece

  • Kill each and every youtube commenter. Myself included.

  • @Ireallylikeeggs I agree. Let's do this.

  • @armadillosnacks I like dicks in my ass

  • i think this genere is..... Chupame los huevos, for those who doesn't speak spanish, it's suck my balls and enjoy the fucking music D:

  • awesome as fuck

  • 3:20 holy FUCKKK

  • Crystal Meth? >>>

  • @kingbeatsoz haha, I have that too, I can't imagine why it's there.

  • @howincrediblyshit But Venetian Snares is Canadian! Only the songs and album are in Hungarian. Titled in Hungarian, anyway.

  • Venetian Snares is a breakcore artist. Rossz Csillag and My Downfall incorporate neoclassical.

  • Some call his music IDM, or Intelligent Dance Music.

  • @headshotsalot Finally, someone who has a brain. lol

  • @Fenixzification Another good DJ like him is Xenoptica. Although Venetian Snares is the only IDM musician I've heard add classical pieces to his music. Venetian Snares is more melodic, as well. But if you're here just for the hard beats and breaks, Xenoptica is where it's at. TL;DR: Melody and Symphony = Venetian Snares | Hardcore Beats and Breaks = Xenoptica.

  • All of you = faggots. Genre is obvs hungarianfolkbeatcorenia.

  • Guy 1: So what is your favorite song?

    Guy 2: Uhhhh...It's this thing.

Guy 1: Seriously. What is it?

    Guy 2: Well...I don't know

    Guy 1: C'mon.

Guy 2: Ok! Fine! I don't know how to pronounce my favorite song!!!

Guy 1: *laughs* Just play it for me on youtube then

    Guy 2: Okay.

    Guy 1: *brain explodes*

    Guy 2: *continues listening*

  • Sometimes I hate when I show this kind of stuff to "normal" people, they just can't friking understand, but thinking about it, if I'm the single one who listens to this in about 100 miles, that makes me feel more unique, and that's something I have to be grateful for, thanks Aaron Funk, for giving me such a great soundtrack for my life.

  • Always someone with a lame Chuck Norris joke

  • Comment removed

  • If you guys want more of this style check out Goreshit's album "Semantic compositions of death and it's meanings".

  • you guys are retarded if you don't know already.

  • the genre is breakcore, but this is way more awsome than everything else made

  • accidentally played this with vulva-thrush playing. holy fuck awesome.

  • Yeah! 111:0 thats a statement! By the way, Chuck Norris can play this track on his triangle.

  • 1:46

  • aztakurva :O

  • gotta love independent musicians. good on ya, aaron

  • Lucky me, I've bought this album. ♥

  • true drum and bass oh how I missed you.

  • @BlackHound drum and bass? a-a.....

  • @BlackHound what? lol, this is not even close to drum and bass.

  • @BlackHound breakcore m8

  • I was surprised to hear this on G4 for Comic Con 2011.. .VS is gaining some major media publicity... hopefully not too much to the point where he sells out.

  • It's very clever... and I'm sure that if you've never heard Elgar's Cello Concerto before then this will sound brilliant. But for me, I can't get past the chopped up pieces of the Cello Concerto, used rather clumsily, over and over and again.

  • @markgcarroll

clumsily ? XD don't make me laugh

    :p

of course the original concerto is wonderful, but I think almost everyone here agrees that what VS made out of it is wonderful too. Not only clever, but beautiful. Then, it's obvious you have the right not to like it and say so. So thanks for sharing your "polite" opinion.

The fact is I'm actually happy and relieved because I realize not everyone loves this.

  • @injektileur True

  • This track got me introduced to Breakcore <3

  • G4 has been using this in their commercials for Comic Con 2011 coverage. If you turn the channel on, expect to see more of it as Comic Con approaches this year.

  • i think the reason people want to know what genre it is for the most part is simply because its awesome as fuck and they want to find more of it

  • @Bashy14 Well said!

  • @Bashy14 but they gona be disappointed, this is not under any genre, though it might be a mix of classic (modern?), abstract + venetian snare, usually they call his music breakcore, jungle, DnB... I say start to listen to this music, go trough forums, do your own research, and you gona get to it sooner or later.

  • y does it need a genre its what it is because it was made that way stop trying to categorize everything

  • The genre is Venetian Snares.

  • @MyButterfingerMMX if some1 would hear ultaviolent junglist 1st he would say it's shit. And this tack is like introduction to this genere : Venetian Snares. me like glue

  • @MyButterfingerMMX you are wrong, the genre is SYMPHONIC PUNK COUNTRY DISCO

  • inspired from Elgar Concerto for Cello, but not only.there are other classical pieces which they used for the song...and they made it absolutely genius!

  • @inlovewithsummersky just Aaron is vsnares

  • @inlovewithsummersky it's just one guy.

  • What genre is this?

  • @jyian35

    Breakcore, IDM..fused with Classical.

  • @jyian35 weird ass pure awesomeness electronica

  • @gothgospel consider it breakcore. or drum n bass. but most that listen to it will call it breakcore.

  • @OuroGoku

agree... lets add it to favourites!

    ;}

  • amazing track...

  • this song owns :D
