Well I think you can say that some athletes are born with physical attributes that give them an advantage over other athletes, and in turn, those other athletes have to practice and work harder to be good. But I think it comes down to genetics more than anything.
Wasn't Pappas' last national tour telecast. He made the show in the Showboat Doubles with Schlegel in '86.

According to the pba archives, the last title Dick Weber won was in 1977. Unless they are including the Senior tour.
