The best game over theme in my opinion. Gives you the chill of failure and the thoughts of 'You've failed, now the world rests upon evil's shoulders'.
@swordsaver I've always loved this theme since a child, Of course it's not a theme I'd like to hear on a frequent basis if I'm trying to complete the game :(
@camil2003 : It's funny, because in the 2nd part, they're trying to achieve the exact thing they were originally trying to prevent for the whole of the first game

same with me if you hear this theme frequent then there is a problem, however golden sun isn't too hard except the final and secret bosses.

I wholeheartly agree although I prefer golden sun 2's version of the game over as its missing the chime.
To me the gameover sounds like a blackness of destruction is devouring the world.
And so the heros have fallen and the world was slowly devoured by alchemy and destroyed..
