Linux is open so it's security is lowered. (doesn't matter because none uses Linux to make a virus, only for server and server have their own server security, security is bad for os usage.)

Linux does not have more software. Windows is 90% so that all software, hardware, applications, games, drivers will always be available for windows, and sometimes not for Linux. The people who actually use Linux as their #1 os is either for server usage, no internet, or just a person who is not familiar with computers.

wow , looks like in your n00bishness you have never ran linux , i run ubuntu (thats a flavour of linux , you are to dumb to know that though :D ) and all of my hardware works out of the box , so does my friends , and i browse the net fine on ubuntu , things just work , and don't crash , did you take the microsoft brainwashing course ? also , in the ubuntu reposotories (it is how you get software in ubuntu , but you are to dumb to know that) there is 28931 packages by default and tons more repos
