When you fly FPV , do fly from the view of the gopro or another camera. no sure if i should try gopro live feed for fpv. What do think.

@azzurripro I like using a dedicated FPV camera. Others use just the gopro with great success. I personally don't trust myself with charging the gopro's battery.

@juz70 I have done both, the gopro feed is good, but the light handeling is not as good as a decent fpv camera and the gopro gives you about 5 seconds warning before it shuts down when it's battery gets low.

Do you think you would get some performance increase by elevating it off the ground? Perhaps using a simple but tall tripod to hang the bag using the bags top carrying handle?

And what brand of safety boots are those?

@ChickenHawk110 thanks mate. 1.3ghz patch antennas perform best when in close proximity to the ground (a few inches). Secondly, I just got rid of my tripod so my set up would be lighter and easier to transport =]
