2: Fuel powered cars will get taken off roads in the next 70 years until 90% of total cars will be either hybrid or electric cars.

3: it's not just quick on a start, it has the top speed higher as well

4: why would you want a 360 km/h car if on 99.999% of the road you'll never use that speed.

It's an amazing car, but it's actually too efficient for its own good in the way the engine generates no heat to warm it up in the winter.

Actually, no. I seem to have made a mistake, thanks for catching me. It's gasoline engines that need to warm up in the winter. However, an electric engine doesn't generate heat to warm up the cabin in the winter, which would of course require some sort of electric heater that could drain the batteries. But hey! It's all worth it when almost 100% of the energy you spend moves the car, and that without any carbon emissions or spending expensive gasoline.

The reason why it won is because it's a super light frame without bodywork and an electric engine has full torque beginning at 1 RPM to it's highest RPM.

Putting it up against a Le Mans racing car, Formula 1 racing car or Bugatti Veyron would probably result to loosing the drag race for this electric Ariel Atom.
