If the Kings draft Rubio at 4 (or trade up for him), get Lawson or Collison at 23, get rid of beno and draft a decent big man to back up the young guys next year, we will have a really talented and deep team on our hands in a couple years.
I agree about Beno's contract. If we can't get rid of him, we could go for Pitt's Sam Young for SF. On the other hand, I think Collison and Lawson are better than Beno and would give us great depth for the future.

If Memphis don't pick him I believe he'll land on Sacramento... OKC have a good front court for the future (Durant, Green and Westbrook), they need a big guy. They'll go for Thabeet or Jordan Hill. I would love to see Rubio playing for the Kings, he'll suit better than on memphis.

You are simply looking to his stats and comparing it to NBA stats to say "his so-so numbers"... He leads the ACB in stealing and assists... he has leade euroleague in stealing two seasons ago (being 16), having lost Rudy Fernandez Juventud lost his scoring reference and Ricky has distribute the ball as no-one else... top 6 juventud scorers are between 10.8 pts/game and 8.5 pts/game wich means there is not first shooting option and Ricky knows how to distribute the ball betwen all his teammates

sam presti has been very willing to take draft picks... although it might not be likely (because i think donnie walsh is set on nash in 2010) i think presti would take the #8 and next years 1st rounder for rubio. oklahoma is hoarding draft picks right now...

If the Kings draft Rubio at 4 (or trade up for him), get Lawson or Collison at 23, get rid of beno and draft a decent big man to back up the young guys next year, we will have a really talented and deep team on our hands in a couple years.

I agree about Beno's contract. If we can't get rid of him, we could go for Pitt's Sam Young for SF. On the other hand, I think Collison and Lawson are better than Beno and would give us great depth for the future.

With Hawes and Thompson in the frontcourt (both unselfish bigmen), the Kings will once again be known as the most unselfish and most entertaining team to watch.
Add a couple more defensive minded free agents (I.E. Trevor Ariza) and we will be headed in the right direction.
