How to create custom ringtones for the iPhone and iPhone 3G

My Iphone when connected to Itunes shows the ringtones but on the phone when I go to the sounds there is not a custom ringtone folder to get it? How do I make the folder show up on the phone when not plugged into Itunes?

@Ziadaz1 Click on Edit at the top of the menu bar and then click on preferences. A new window will pop up and give you a list of sources. Check ringtones. Now you should be able to see your ringtone icon in itunes

@Ziadaz1 Also an easier way to create ringtones is by downloading UnimTones in cydia. Thats what I use now.

okay...every time i try this i make the 30 second version of it and i put it on the desktop...rename it M4R and then add it to the library but it just goes straight to music...never to ringtones

@TheMcReviewer u can do this online for free you dont need all this crap, you can load songs from your music files and download it its simple really

There r 2 ways. The quick and easy way is to create a new folder on ur desk top and name it what ever u want. Open that folder and place ur vwalpaper there. U must rename it to Wallaper. Also keep in mind that it has to be a MP4. Once that's done ssh into ur device and go back one. Click on stash. Then click on themes and place ur folder in there. Go into winterboard and u will c ur folder in there. Tap on it and exit out. Respring and u should have an awsome background. I'll pm u the other way

I forgot to mention that doing it this way is a bit buggy. Like sometimes it won't start back up when u exit out of an app. The other way is way more stable. So yea I'll PM u.

If you are talking about apps that you can't get through iTunes then yes. In order for you to get apps that iTunes do not have your device has to be jailbroken. But now if your talking about ringtones then no.
