Dude, people are lucky if they can change the tone of their voice to the point that they sound SLIGHTLY like someone else. hbi2k managed to come up with about a dozen different voices for each series, and you can just barely tell they're all from one person. But they are, so they will have some similarities. However, for one man, the voice variety is insanely impressive.

Heeey... The anime Never included those assassins from the east that Crazy King hired!? WTF. I'm glad that I'd only saw up to Nosferatu Zodd on the Anime and started fresh on the manga.

mostly because those assassins hinted at the later plot of the manga, since the show was only supposed to go for 25 episodes, they really didn't have enough time to do those villains. The anime is still fairly close to what the manga is, i mean the eclipse is just as moving in the anime as it is in the manga(if a little les graphic)

I didn't really like the assassins. I thought they were a bit much. Especially since right afterward they get chased by those black dog knights and that creepy demon guy whose name I can't remember. I mean, how realistic is it that the King not only has access to scary foreign assassins, but ALSO a demon who was at least on par with Zodd? Especially considering demons were so rare up to that point... >_>

A group going by IDLITstudios has posted the first episode.  It's pretty good, they've got some good comic timing and production values. It's hard to judge these things based on just one episode (lord knows I don't wanting anyone judging me on MY first), but they show some promise at least.

Beserk seems to be one of the few exceptions to the manga/anime rule. Usually the manga series is a lot shorter than the TV series, which has fillers every time they need the comics to catch up. Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh, Yu Yu Hakusho, On Piece... These are examples of a typical manga/anime relationship. Only other series I can think of where the anime is SHORTER than the manga is Samurai Deeper Kyo.
