I, a Nepalese, am a great fan of Anwesha. I have listened to almost all the songs sung by her in this competition, but in youtube. Today, I happened to listen this song for the first time. I was happy to listen to an unheard song but this song which commenced and executed so beautifully ended so badly. I could hardly watch it. After watching the clip, all I can say and do is, I will never ever listen to this f*u*c*k*i*n*g PRITAM's songs.

The original song is sang by Lataji and she is always be the Diva of Indian music- she is now over 75 years old, but in the horizon another prodigy is rising fast- her name is ANWESHA and check her rendition of the same song tender age of 13.5 years in Chote Ustad. Anwesha may have sang it even better!!! Pritam is so wrong in his assessment!

Sorry for my ignorance on the language, but do they mix some English words into what they say in their own language? Are they speaking Hindi? I could swear I heard the woman who spoke say the phrases/words 'anyway', 'she's badly missing' and 'thank you'.

Yes, they do. It is common in India(and I think in rest of the world too) to mix English words (and phrases) while speaking. The percentage of 'english' content depends on Urban /rural areas and their education.

Pritamis wrong. This is a simple meledious song with payrelal touch. This song does have fine details that have to worked out carefully and Anwesha did a great job on this. I thought she brought out the payrelal touch and feeling very well. Pritam should learn payrelal touch and compose some of those
