  • This vocal processor seems to be great! Would you recommend it for radio voice-overs?

  • well, she makes a great job guys !

  • This is a horrible review. There is too much of her live voice and not enough of what the Synth is doing. There's nothing about what the pedal is actually doing to create the sounds. Meh.

  • shit im sold ._.!

  • Can the hardtune effect be used WITHOUT a guitar or keyboard? can it real time pitch control without an instrument?

  • @Digitalxknife Yes. I own this. You can choose the key you are singing in if you have no instrument.

  • Can you record with this also? I use Ableton Live, are they compatible?

  • @M0CH4B34R you need a soundcard

  • can people stop jumping trendsetter trends and stop killing the vibe by making it mainstream / epic fail

  • summary of this : a great pedal for lady gaga´s wannabe´s

  • Would this be able to imitate the kind of autotune effect used by attack attack?

  • she was better than lady gagas version of poker face haha..

  • LOL i felt the non auto tune voice was way nicer!

  • heyy, uhh what do you think would be the best for re creating a sound like this. Megwacko - Abandon all Ships! pplease respond :)

    (the singing parts)

  • how do you connect voicetone synth to an amp? do i need a preamp?

  • personally. i like the before when u sing is awesome. u should get a guy or girl u could not sing.

  • This pedal, unfortunately, is aimed at retards who want to sound like lady Gaga. I want to be able to reproduce Somebody to Love from Queen without having a choir. Can TC Helicon help?

  • i wanna sound like the double rainbow guy

  • Hello,

I own an old Roland Juno 106 and a Gaia SH-01 (also old Moog Modular and Liberaton) ; how can i use the VoiceTone Synth as a vocoder ? I mean, when i play a G for example, the pedal transpose the sound i do with my voice into a G ?

  • would i be able to hook that up in a studio too record???or should i go with a software instead

  • can you use it in production software for acapellas etc

  • Can any of these pedal be used without plugging in guitar, keyboards or an mp3 player to keep track of the key? I mean, only by listening a lead singers voice..

  • she is to good to demo hardtune.. she is to in tune already..

  • Just saw this pedal used at a show (hip hop) and it did an amazing job of hard tune/tpain type of effect. This demo doesn't do the pedal justice.

  • Comment removed

  • MADONA DAL CLAP!!!

  • she didn't need the pitch correction

  • the auto tune demo was not good . If you plan on doing the effect you need to purposely go off tune while she is right on tune .

  • without the effects it's much better sounding wow that box is horrible

  • i wonder if Guy Manuel and Thomas Bangalter from Dapht Punk didn't used a mix between a real talbox in combination with a hardtune autotune effect...?

  • Hahaha, she's singing all top 40 songs hahahaha

  • why has no one commented on what a honey she is? haha

  • can you turn down the hardtune effect?? I want it to tune my my voice without getting a really hard t-pain effect. is that possible?

  • i want a pedal that i can get some quality reverbs and delays. plus it needs to be good live. what would you suggest?

  • I in no way work for TC Helicon so I am not being biased. I have tried the other vocal pedals on the market and TC Helicon is the best live vocal processor on the market. I would strongly suggest getting the Voicetone Create for the quality delays and reverbs.

  • i play rock, mostly with an electric guitar. I can't really sing but i was just wondering is there any TC Helicon product that could make it actually sound kinda good.

  • That would be the Synth. You should also look into investing in a talkbox

  • Which tc-helicon pedal would be the best for getting a T-painlike sound? correct, or synth?

  • Well, the "correct" would definitely give you the hard tune pitch correction. The synth would give you a few more synth like effects. The VT correct may be the way to go. Let me know if you would like to order!

    Thanks,

  • a lot of people say the VT correct just gives an extra little boost to people who can already sing well.

But can it hard tune as well as the VT synth?

  • @TheMusicFarm do you have to connect a PA system to this, to make it work?

  • The Synth is the best pedal to get for the T-Pain type sound. The Create is best for Delays and Reverbs and also for genre based effects.

  • Oh and I have the Correct, and it really is useless. I don't even hook it up anymore. It really doesn't correct your bad notes like the Synth does. I have the Create, Correct, Doubler, and the Synth, so I enjoy all of them.

  • Hey, I want to know, if with this one, can I have my midi keyboard as a carrier?

  • nobody twisted my army! bought one a couple of months ago. fantastic in every way...actually Laura Clapp does a great demonstration here, but there's a lot more to it than this vid. anyone that says it's crap is spouting bullocks. it works! you don't like it go blow your money on a tin whistle

  • You are exactly right!!! I bought it and I love it!!! I am still playing with the settings and getting the sounds I want.

  • Exactly, and it's as easy as butter, right? Everything from electro to straight acoustic!! I've done that, and it works great! And, the preamp is to die for right? :)) Congratulations!

  • Hard tune or auto tune was vaguely interesting the first time heard, but became intensely annoying in a hurry.

Tone Synth is the apex of annoying effects.

  • I still have yet to hear a great demo on this pedal. The hard tune demo sounded nothing like autotune. (I think her voice stays in pitch too well already :)...)

The Daft Punk piece should be using the vocoder, not hard tune. That one didn't sound right either.

  • @RacerX1492

    Too true.

She has her awful sounding dry vocal mixed in with the vocoding effects as well, which is retarded and sounds terrible. I hope someone will demo the tune/vocoder with the wet mix only so we don't have to hear the effects blended with some off key blonde.

  • so true....I have the unit and I'll post a proper demo shortly! ruins the effect with the untreated vocal in the mix!

  • Awesome!

  • THAT'S A MUST HAVE!!!
