I kinda pictured Alaska as Emma Stone, idk just Alaska's attitude and the way she talked reminded me of Emma Stone and how she acts in several movies. no one seems to have an idea for the colonel, but the whole time i kept picturing Shia Beouf, i know he isn;t exactly short but the way the colonel was, i think shia could pull it off perfectly. as far as pudge, idk, there are numerous possibilities there, but i kinda thing logan lerman would do good. justin chon def for takumi tho.

For the love god of not kirsten stewart, Alaska is strong and out going kirsten will ruin the whole movie, willa holland has the voice and will be a much more powerful lead.

I always imagined Alaska as a thicker girl. And Lara as more petite. The Colonel was always short but buff in my mind and when I think of Pudge I think Michael Cera. The one you pocked for Takumi is spot on though.

pudge: michael cera, cause he is kind of an awkward type of guy and great actor.

alaska: blake lively cause she is a amazing actress and i think she would fit the role perfectly.

takumi: justin chon or leonardo nam.

the colonel: i have a picture of him in my head but i just cant think of what movie i know he's in so idk his name.

I reckon due to John Green's "being-in-the-Youtube-communit­y-ness", the whole film should be cast with Youtubers =P you could have residentmikelee as Takumi and Lisanova, any of the fiveawesomegirls or maybe even walllofweird as Alaska. As for Miles...maybe Charlie? I dunno, I can't think right now.
