Robin is a very talented singer, song writer and she is very pretty but her personality needs a BIG MAKE OVER. My friend and I went to one of her concerts and she was very rude to my friend and me. Some friendly advice Robin be a little more nice to your fans.
If you ever met Robinella in person, you would be so ashamed to say an ugly thing like that . She is a very kind person, and doesn't deserve disrepect of any kind, much less a comment like that.
and i tried to sing it too...lol... hear my version on youtube at gbesmith. We love you Robinella!!! Your awesome Gal! Love, Georgia Smith gbesmith@yahoo.com
As anyone who can appreciate Robinella's music knows that she is from the foothills of Tennessee near the Great Smokey Mountains where I live as well. And times I have moved away from Tennessee, video's such as these bring back memories and make me homesick for beautiful Tennessee!! Continue doing what you do Robinella... i have followed you since you were 1st featured on the Heartland Series tv show. Rememeber that? That's the day i 1st heard ur song "Nothing Less Nothing More"... msg. cont..
I myself being raised in a family with an alcoholic father who drank himself to death by age 44, and also having several failed relationships myself with men
who were alcoholics, can fully appreciate this song. She is on the water...in a boat... which is significant in the fact of her lover drowning... drowning in water - - drowning in alcohol - - both are suicide. The old ristic house and rolling in the country side grassy hills is connected to her upbringing. ...this msg. cont . . .
The sophistication of the lyrics belie the simplicity of the singer's persona (see the Studio 865 interview elsewhere here). Well sung, Robinella also has a tight band with her and an excellent violin solo on the bridge. "Man Over(board)" is an intriguing metaphor for the self destruction of an alcoholic. Why the video shows Robinella rolling in the grass and lolling on a porch with the band is anyone's guess; images incongruous for the song's meaning, probably from the record company.
As much as I like her prerecorded this is a group that is even better live

@tialater ~ The person to whom you responded has a user name that is very indicative of the fact that he/she certainly deserved no response.

what a strange video for the song being sung. It doesn't match any concept i can think of. What is point?
