what i don't understand is why people stress impaction yet its natural habitat is the desert? Either way i used vita sand( calcium supplement based substrate) they also have these seeds that look liek sesame seeds.

i have buddies over seas in afghanistan that have seen them in the rocky desert, you can wiki to your hearts content.

Calcium sand is bad. I had a loss on it because it kept eating the sand for it had calcium. Other sand is fine for adults, but the calcium sand is encouraging the leopard geckos, or maybe others, to eat it.

are you stupid? animals scratching at glass is because A: they want to get out because they dont like being in a cage all day. or B: because they see reflections in the glass. if you put a background on the cage, then you would knotice they rarly scratch at it anymore. get your facts straight.
