  • HQ audio?...hmmph...

  • all rumbling lows and glass sliver highs do not an HQ audio make!

  • Somewhere in America, the pattern in Daryl's shirt is on the drapes in someone's living room! I think my sister had it on her bed spread. p.s. I love Hall & Oates. They remind me of happy times as a teenager. When I hear their music I'm transported to a time when my life was sooo simple yet complicated by my confused teenage brain.

  • great~~!!!!!!

  • THANK YOU!!!!

  • someone knows who's the guy on the guitar? pretty guitar solo

  • Dnload the audio from this video at thetunify doht cohm.

  • At the end, they were getting ready to go into "Do What You Want, Be What You Are".

  • Shes Out of My league lead me here

  • @TheLaptop12 same

  • Kasim Sulton is playing bass, standing next to Darryl.

  • @johnkirk4 That's Kenny Passarelli on bass. He was previously in the band 1977-78 then replaced by John Siegler in 1979. He returned for a time in 1980 before being replaced by Seigler again. Passarelli was the guy who tried to give the "Rusty Gun Bandit" his credit card during the infamous incident when the restaurant H&O and the band were dining in was robbed during a tour of Australia.

  • GREATTT!!!!!!

  • Oats must have added something-all of Hall's solo work was borrrring

  • kiss on my list esta exlente esta rola pero no tendran el video original

  • Does anyone have any idea how Oates was part of this...I mean, this was always the Darryl Hall Show.

  • John Oates wrote Maneater, She's Gone and many of their top hits and has a very soulful voice as he sang backup and is an excellent guitarist.

  • ANDREW RIDGEWAY!

    or is it RIDGELEY? LOL

  • mmmmm !!! Hermoso tema para bailar paso americano, realmente un clasico...

  • kiss on my list un gran clasico del recuerdo que voz de daryl hall como el no hay otro que recuerdaso

  • Your kiss, your kiss, your kiss, I can't get enough of your kisses... yummy.

  • Lo máximo , me ha hecho recordar a mis épocas del colegioooo

  • I love this duo! They are hilarious! =D Because your kiss is on my list.....

    Because your kiss, I can't resist babbbbyyyyyy...XD

  • They are the top selling "Duo" in history! What's your excuse?????

  • Yeah, I know this. =)

  • Great, I'm going to have this song stuck in my head all day.

  • I went to see Hall & Oates LIVE last Tuesday and they were OUTSTANDING. Great memories, talent & an unforgettable performance. If they come to your area, don't miss out on "The MOST SUCCESSFUL DUO of ALL-TIME!"

  • Just saw them last night at Paramount Theatre, Asbury Park, NJ.

But first time i caught them? 1972, they were 'opening' for Bee Gees, Capital Theatres, Passaic NJ.

  • Hall & Oates the best band of the 80s

The 80s best decade in the f**king world!!

  • let me see....hmmmm....my first kiss.....it was at the pool in allentown, pa.....i had been laying beside a girl i really liked.....someone threw a towel over our heads and all i remember was the heavier breathing of her.....and then i kissed her....wow, so many years ago....back in the early 60's....but i still remember her "kiss"....you're right, life is beautiful....hang on to it and the experiences of way back then are still here for us today.....

  • Yes, at 58 I sure realize how important this really is !! Probably never really recognized it way back when

  • If only we had youtube back then.

  • The last good kiss I had I'd rather not remember it... it's been too long. I'd give my left breast for a good kiss in the dark right now. Okay, maybe I would rather keep my left breast. Nevermind... lol

  • the lead guitar here 'gets it' pretty damn good soft rock,,,doesn't get much better.

  • The song they are going into after this one is "Do What You Want, Be What You Are".

  • Did Hall at this point that he'd never go bald?

  • Tricia Townsend in the sixth grade...walking her home after school...we were in the school play together, "The Music Man". When this song came out I thought of her each time I heard it on the radio as I have every time since then and even today. My God life is beautiful.

  • I sooo agree with you. Life is pretty damn amazing! : )

  • These guys came out with a whole slew of great songs in a short time period...they kept the 80's rock'n!!!

  • Tricia,

I always loved this for one of the more modern songs (not 50s and 60s). It's just a GREAT song!!! Love the melody!!!!

    Thanks much! Kathy

  • Great song by Hall & Oates and you got a live concert upload?!--WTG Luis and take care from Mikey! 10/10 Stars...

  • What can you say, one of the great things about the 80's. No wonder why they are the BEST SELLING DUO OF ALL TIME!

  • Seen them when Private Eyes came out, super concert! Miss them too! Was #1 song when I was at Marti Gras in March 1981, was playing in every bar we went in! sigh... oh the memories... kiss on my list................

  • Love this tune. I've never heard it played live behaviour. Great singers and musicians.

  • daryl has a great voice!!!!

  • man, I wish I was actually cognizant in the 80's (born in 86)

  • Some of the best things I know of that splendid decade.....

  • Man, these guys were my major influences when I was still learning how to play the bass guitar. I was 8 and this was the most addicting song I've ever listened to. Other than the Beatles, Beach Boys, The Ramones. . .Hall and Oates have the most playful and catchy songs ever. I miss these guys. . .

  • @Rol110587 They haven't gone anywhere. hallandoates . com

  • This is lovely. Thanks so much!

  • 8minutes later I run into this; tbonefender with his "studio version" of the Eagles song Long Run. Studio version perfection in sound control, should be a great video, and then a big WTF!

  • You do know that HQ means "high quality" not some fuzzy thing you can't hear. Quality is not just louder. I know what you mean it pisses me off too. But listen to some of the others in this group. Rayas has quality sound without the volume at 10.

  • Daryl HALL LOOKS LIKE KEVIN BACON!

  • miss them. private eyes was the first record i ever bought...i was 5

  • Hall & Oates - smooth and nice. The last time I heard this I licked my Lollipop. I was entranced to say the least. This is gorilla music of the highest jotter. The Yamaha CP really adds to the smell of blancmange. No-one understands me when I enthuse about this. Sustain the greetings, and get down to the groovy keeper-tronics of H & O!

  • Thanks for this video,I love them.

  • he sounds of thoe sounds like hes nervous sounds way better on the record

  • High Quality Audio?...u sure?

  • talented singers/song writers

  • Awesome song!!!! Thank You!!!

  • Love these guys! Brings back lots of memories!!!

  • Love it!!X3 :3

  • Yeah! They are a great duo, this is one of my faves by them.

  • i love this song! thank you so much for this video...

  • GREAT SONG!!!!!!
