Wow,awesome..great job for real...YOU ROCK !!!keep it up and keep practicing until u can play it with ease so u can put more feelings into it,RLY well done ^_^
I think what amazed me most was the line 'after THREE years of formal training.' :O Ok so there are some notches here and there and the tempo blah de blah...but well done :)
decid lo que querais, pero me sorprendo al ver como la gente defiende una interpretacion asi, supongo que lo hareis por compasion, acaso estais sordos? escuchais como interpreta esta pieza?
I really think that some kind of commentaries like the one of "joseramonv" it´s a kind of joke....... I prefer believe that this kind of deppreciative opinion it´s made by people that only wants to appear....... however, it´s a great interpretation from a great master, and too difficult too....... congratulations..........
I like to point out to critics that this piece wasn't intended to be played by the piano at all, the harpsichord being the instrument for which this piece was composed for. The harpsichord is a dynamically and expressively neutral instrument. That's why composers of the classical period found it to be so boring and old fashioned. So the beauty of this piece is not in expressiveness, but rather in its architecture itself. Cmon, it's a baroque harpsichord concerto for heaven's sake.
why don't you play it on a digital harpsichord someday? i've tried and it was much more fun and sounded better too. cuz no one can beat gould on a piano

very hard playing, bad tempo, no feelings, , too many bad notes, just like a robot but worst. i can get to the conclusion that you know the piece, just that.
Before I started learning this piece, the recordings scare me, never imagined myself performing this piece either, so much memorization (full of unexpected notes), with absolutely no rest throughout, (typical Bach haha) unlike most concertos. But once I started, I enjoyed playing his minor melodies!
This piece has patterns, so I would say it's much easier than Fugues.
no, I did not go through Hanon exercises (maybe Hanon #1 for two days XD). I'm currently practicing all 24 major and minor scales and arpeggios (very helpful). Also, I'm learning different techniques along with the pieces.
Haha, it's been about four months since that performance, I'm still practicing this piece on my own trying to master more skills (really takes a long time).
Thanks for your comment, hope I answered your questions!
lol too fast

What does it sound like playing the first piano only? Would it sound good by itself??
sunnychic2007 1 year ago
Very fast, messy and fussy

Even if you don't like music like this, the technical ability needed to play cannot fail to wind admiration.

Very fast playing - pretty tempo! Bach should not bee played to slow.

@joseramonv She plays well with a varied touch, good tempo, and plenty of feelings. I have no idea where you came up with anything otherwise!
