The Lumbee have several different languages and they are Pamlico(aka Algonquian), Siouan, and some speak Iroquoian all of which, to my knowledge, are almost completely faded out. Most Lumbee people do however use a very distinct Engish dialect officially known as Lumbee English. I do, however agree with your last statement about the White people contidiction.
