  • @ TheEctomorth! Totaly different class of Bod in those days People had character with a Nik Name that was asigned to them bot what they gave themselfs as they do today note the two black women don't even look as the skin heads walk bye coz they were probably local lads and everbody was used to seeing each other coz they grew together People fear what they don't know!

  • happy days

  • this is just simply amazing, love it love it love it

  • crackin song u can understand everyword

  • fantastic record whot memerys thanks

  • Omg, some of the young people in the video [above] look proper hard cases, so they do! I don't know exactly when the video was filmed, but I would hazard a guess that it was way bak in 1969 or '70 (five years or more before Susan Cadogan's excellent reggae tune "Hurt So Good" was released). Judging by the appearances of some of those teenage mods and skins, there were just as many young 'tough nuts' and hard lads around 40 years ago as there are today!

  • Still a great record - and the film reminds me of when I was 18 in 1972 - mod fashion everywhere, love those days on me Lambretta . . . c'mon Wolves . . .

  • if you like reggae check out my song Crossed Lines on my channel alexaflexab...inspired by Susan Cadogan

  • Excellent reggae single from 1975. The lyrics of this song are interesting ...... and, by today's standards, are certainly not 'politically correct".

The song reminds me of the old adage: "Girls don't go for nice lads, as a rule; they go for the wideboys/ bastards/rotters."

Of course, that old saying could be dismissed as a sweeping generalisation - and indeed it is. However, I can't help feeling that, to a certain extent at least, it has some truth. I will never understand women!! lol.

  • @TheEctomorph welcome to a mans world my friend none of us understand em ;]

  • how sexy and cool is this excellent

  • Thanks a lot. Great piece of ancient history. When was it filmed in 69 or one/two years later? Great song and same with the choice of film.

  • Excellent stuff from the mid-70's - great record in the Disco's at that time - well done twinning it with this film as well - I almost expected to see myself in my checked Ben Sherman shirt, crombie and boots going into the Molineux!

  • I can't believe it. I was mending a PC this evening and I got it working. I put all his music back in to Itunes and as I carried on working on it, I left the music ion shuffle. I heard a song that I thought, "that's good - wonder who it is"? It was Susan Cadogon. I hadn't heard of that name since I was 10. I came straight to You tube and this was the song I remember and loved so much in 1975. It's the first time (well 15 x) i've heard it since then. It's so good to hear this magic voice/ song

  • yeah....there is a song for everything...play on..wishing you well...Susan C.

  • 87 does that make you feel good?let me tell you it feel so good

  • watching the video sure takes me back sta prest ben shermans crombies,it was a style that never died as far as i'm concerned,i still dress the same today, but what shocked me was i was once told i must be a racist!!only a peabrained fuckwit could come up with a remark like that, sadly us who where around during that time are now tarred with the same brush as the nuckle dragging neo fascists that stole our style, how could i be racist listening to black orientated music!!

  • Layorseniram, anyone with any music knowledge would know that the skinheads and blacks were untied in their love of reggae and it's still the case now. You can tell easily a smart suited and booted skinhead from the knuckle draggers. Wear your Crombie with pride!

  • i used ta wear all that TOO,LoL!!Oh man...'Ben Shermans',LoL!!Fab yooot...
