I never saw it but I think Robin actually overheard Robert and Anna talking about being her parents. Robin runs away and this becomes part of the Asian Quarters storyline. I would love to see these clips!

The older guy is Bert Ramsey. He was Robert's Captain. Turns out he was "Mr. Big" and behind the crime empire that brought Duke Lavery to town. Claims that he turned to a "life of crime" because he always was in Robert's "shadow" and was also disappointed when Anna was made Co-Police chief with him. I wish someone had the scene of Robert capturing Ramsey and the kind of "perp walk" that followed. Reminded me of someone going to "death row" in a movie or something...
