  • I really enjoyed this video as well as the fantastic music that accompanied it......I am at a loss for the death of Michael Garrison....He is the best for this well sounding elctronic music ......this instrumental music is relaxing for the heart and soul ....just wish Michael was around to produce more for all our enjoyment....May God Bless you Michael...May Your Soul Rest In Peace!!!!!!!......jham21206

  • I don't know guys, but the way I got it it came on the Sun Return album, track number 4. Also the Sun Return album has another vocal track, "For you and me" and that's track number 10. I don't know what versions you guys have, but this is what I've got. It's vocal, but the beat is exactly the same as the rest of the instrumentals on the album.

  • I did not know Michael Garrison passed on. What a loss in the ambient world. May he RIP.

  • This is what music is all about

  • This is originally from the album "Eclipse"

  • @jamesrp -- Definitely wasn't Regions because that album was all instrumental. Took him a while to incorporate voices.

  • Definietly one of the best synth Ambient tracks ever.dark and beautiful.

  • Oh, yes.

  • Sadly yes, it was alcoholism.

  • Oh no.

  • The facts may be off but I am glad to see Mike on you tube! I bought his first album (sold from the trunk of his car) in 1979 in Pacific Grove California and have loved his music ever since! ps Check out Craig Padilla too!

  • This is so cold, dark, gloomy, yet so uplifting.

Garry was an unusuall musician. Brilliant and simple. May his soul RIP.

  • on the original LP there is no track called "Take A Chance" only on the CD. "The Distance From Here" from the LP is missing on the CD. bonus tracks on the CD: Take A Chance, Animation, Theme To Onday, The Black Hole, For You And Me.

  • I have always loved Michael Garrison's music. I bought his original albums at the Gothic Image shop in Glastonbury, many years ago.

  • excelente tema, exquisito uso del sintetizador y ambiente espacial

  • The lyrics must have been added on later, as the album is purely instrumental. Nice work, nonetheless.

  • Sorry but you are wrong, "Departure" is instrumental, "Take a chance" has that lyrics (sung by Shari Barna, btw) already on the "Eclipse" album (I just checked on the vinyl LP!)

  • I agree entirely the lyrics are on the original album

  • pest pokke tyfisch muziek ;)
