  • 16:: Harry's eyes are green lol -.-'

  • Just think...if not for a delayed train Harry Potter would never exist....

  • 0:35 It changed from number 6 to number 8....MAGIC.

  • 17: i think you forgot the most important thing in the whole history of harry potter : 7 horcrouxes ( dont know how to spell it :) )

  • ok you just proved i was born for harry potter , i was born in 1996 :)

  • All of these facts are from MuggleNet!!!!

  • "Author J. K. Rowling recently revealed that Dumbledore is gay and that hehad a crush on the wizard Grindelwald, whom he later defeated in a wizard duel. " What the fuck? o.O

  • #2 if you've watched rons disease for the ppp, and read the part when swicthed his hat for flowered bonnet, you wouldve known he was gay.

  • Dumbledore was gay!?!? I never realized the Harry Potter series were so theological/symbolic.. my mind has been blown.

  • 1:37 Sirius is imprisoned in Hogwarts or Azakban???????

  • @DesenhoBoy What it meant was that in the series Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban after Harry and his friends + Snape had managed to catch Sirius Black who escaped from Azkaban, he was being placed at the 7th floor of Hogwarts while waiting for the Domentors to take him away. But in the end, Sirius was saved by Harry and Hermione on the dragon.

  • @SgBoy95 On the Griffon

  • Ahh... Thank the train delay. If things had gone differently that day, we wouldn't know if Harry even existed. Blessing in disguise, right JK?

  • 37 years old?!? Are you serious?!? That, I didn't know... Hmm... Dumbledore sure is a big fan of Gandalf the Grey... ;) How did you know he had one anyway? Oh and BTW, good video! ;)

  • No 14. :)

  • fact number 29... INCEPTIOOOONN!!!!!!!

  • I if you watched and read the 2nd movie and book we all know i am lord voldemort is tom marvalo riddle!

  • dumbledore is gay?!?!?!

  • number 2!!! lol

  • evry one have seen atleast one harry potter movie :) very sure if you say not then you lie :p

  • lol she should totally write some spellbooks.

  • Fact 21 is hilarious. Look how much Harry Potter has changed our lives!

  • The fact about the death of Hedwig represented Harry's loss of innocence and coming of age is heart breaking! :(

  • @kaykayy42 oh ok i didnt know he just doesnt seem like a gay guy but he is still cool

  • 4 people dislike? seriously?!

  • I am french and 'voldemort' here means more "to steal death" than "fly from death" which does not go with the idea of "conquering death".

  • I like the dementors one. :)

  • u missed out number 7

  • Voldemort means "flight of death" not "fly from death"

  • i dont think tht dumbledore is gay

  • @harrypotternerd125 he is Rowling said he was in an intrview a couple years ago

  • SPOILERS! dnt wrry i read it all

  • The mascot for Ravenclaw house is NOT a raven. It's an Eagle. They changed it in the movies because they are stupid. Just because her last name happened to be Ravenclaw... ugh. Gryffindor's mascot is a lion not a Griffin. :/

  • I knew them all xD

  • im going to the sets soon so i will probs see gandalf's picture in dumbledores office

  • Taaah for posting this on my BIRTHDAY!!! Ik it's pretty late but you knooow;)

  • brilliant loved it, but

It's Harry Potter and the PHILOSOPHER'S stone,

    not sorcerers

    just saying

  • @ZoeAmeliaify In the US it's sorcerer's stone.

  • @ZoeAmeliaify Its not, its sorcerer's stone.

    Not philosophers stone

    just saying

  • @dude15111 It's Philosopher's Stone. A publisher said that the American versions should be Sorcerer's Stone so that the Americans could understand it AND to make it more intriguing apparently. It's originally PS.

  • @dude15111 It's both. In different versions. Why is anybody arguing this? The original name (aka the British version) is Philosopher's Stone however.

    Just saying.

  • That train doesn't know how much it influenced the world by being delayed.

  • i knew quite a few of these but good job anyway! Number 14 is amusing :)

  • number 28 ravenclaws symbol is a eagle not a raven just saying ;P

  • What happened to Mr.#7?

  • wow...this was very good stuff...great job!

  • Comment removed

  • huh. I thought Rowling got Avada Kedavra from Abra Kedabra. I just realized how stupid that sounds xD

  • "the death of hedwig represents harry's loss of innocents and becoming of age" :'D i shed a tear :]

  • in german its not marvolo but vorlost. so they say in the movie tom vorlost riddle, ist lord voldemort :D both`s possible

  • @sloppi100 in swedish they use latin for "I am lord voldemort" instead

  • number 20, kew gardens is in london, not new york :)

  • *reads number 13*

Mum: can you go and get more oven cleaner

Me: fineeee im going to find a dragon mum im going to get the old basalic fang from the basement

  • Well done man, that was some very good info!

  • btw its an eagle that is Ravenclaws sign and yes i know its in the name raven but if you reread Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire it says it

  • Very good, especially when you skip the seven

  • number 2 knows everybody, isn´t? i love Grindelwald and i think it is cool that dumbledore is gay ^^ and number one is also amazing

  • Morsmodre in Norwegian literally means 'Mother-killers' Some fans (myself included) believe the meaning to be that the Death-Eaters could even kill their own mothers for their cause!...But that's all speculation..of course! :)

  • gridelwald? are you kidding me? O_O' dude, you learn new things about dumbledore every day and still dont know half the stuff about him...

  • @7lissrbe7 have you tried reading "The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore"? XD

  • whats a harbinger? # 12

  • @charlieinCNet harbringers mean that they have death in their blood.

  • Just saying the reason that they go to Hogwarts for seven years is most likely because of the schooling In England. We have primary school (after nursery) up to the age of eleven and then go to a secondary school from the age of eleven to eighteen which is seven years. I honestly don't think the amount of years they go to hogwarts is symbolic.. Just my opinion really.

  • Song: Hey there dellilah by Plain white T. :)

  • what is the song?

  • I knew theese from seeing them in other places....Great backing song though!

  • song?

  • I knew almost all of these. though some of them were interesting.......

And Ravenclaw is an Eagle, not a Raven.... strangely enough......

  • Some of these were actually quite interesting, thank you, but the majority I already knew.

  • 19. the french word is voler de la mort thats pretty cool actually

  • 16 and slitherin

  • 28. actually Ravenclaw is an eagle...

  • 23. oh really? I didn't know hufflepuff was a hogwarts house...

  • 20. hogwarts was a place where pirates kept their liquor in their ships

  • 7. there are seven books. seven is the most magical number. but what has 2 and 4 got to do with it?

  • @TealPantherTimes It's clear isn't it? There's 4 people in the tri-wizard tournament so 4 is obviously a important number, and since Harry sees the sorting (Other than his own) only in books 4 and 5 (2 times) 2 must be an important number too.

  • Dumbledore didn't have a crush on Grindelwald, they loved each other

  • She had it that becuz in some places women werent allowed to write books and sell them

  • @MEGAHALODUDES nah it was because boys mightn't read it if they knew it was written by a girl

  • #28, you said Ravenclaw is air/raven, but strangely enough the animal for ravenclaw is an eagle.

  • If green is such a bad thing in Harry Potter, why are Harry's and Lily's eyes green?

  • @PandaAileen im jsut guessing, but maybe it has something to do with there being good and bad in everyone?

  • I knew about 28, 29 and a few others.

  • serious was imprisoned on the 7th floor of hogwarts? dont u mean azkaban? lol

  • @johnthejohnsteralaba When they found Sirius at Hogwarts and were about to execute him (and Buckbeak as well), they had him on the seventh floor before he and Buckbeak were rescued.

  • @johnthejohnsteralaba Now think about it just a few seconds pretty carefully! What do you remember? Yes, Sirius were cought because of Snape after the events in the Shrieking Shack. And what do you mean they are supposed to do with him? They put him in an empty classroom and lock it. So and this classroom is situiated in the 7th floor...

  • u forget that draco is scarly sexy even in the 1st one

  • ik i have nocited that too about the great dog star

  • Comment removed

  • the 1st fact! amazing♥a picture of a wizard of my favourite movie is in my second fav movie:D

  • isn´t ravenclaws animal a hawk?

  • @MissBlackXWhiteRose You're right that it isn't a raven. It's not a hawk either though. It's an eagle. I was thinking about that the other day and wondering why they did that.

  • um, actually it's 29 interesting facts, because u went from 6 to 8, so u skipped 7

  • The video runs a bit too quickly to read it comfortably.

The 9 3/4 sign is a crappy small plastic board :(

  • @XSunnyHeartX Agreed. I had to pause it on most of the slides to be able to read them.

  • The video runs a bit too quickly to read it comfortably.

  • I knew all of this, but if you weren't as big a fan it would be interesting

  • Am I the only one that knew all this before :$ ?

  • @GleekfanNr1 no i did

    srry so late

  • @GleekfanNr1 lol

  • @GleekfanNr1 Nope

  • i took an online sorting quiz and i got gryffiondor!!!! :)

  • Awesome, J.K. Rowling's a fellow Hufflepuff. :D As someone who has looked up to her greatly as an author and as a person the last eleven years, that makes me really happy.

  • Thank God for that train delay!

  • @KaitlynGC I'm scared to think where I would be if it never happened...

  • voldemort in french means flight of death. not fly from death

  • I DISAGREE WITH 2 I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT!!!!

  • @florona66 There is nothing wrong with it. There IS something wrong with him dying or getting sick, though.

  • @Roxas131413 NO thats not what i mean, gay people are awesome!!! my moms uncle was gay, most of my friends ar bi, its just that..........i cant see dumbledore gay, therefore i refuseto belive it:D

  • @florona66 Ah, okay. He shouldn't have died. T^T

  • @Roxas131413 ...i knowQAQ nd he disnt die, he just lives in harrys head...at kings cross........with the dead part of voldemort.....nevermind

  • @florona66 That was in Harry's head, not in the real world...and that Voldemort thing looked GROSS!

  • @Roxas131413 i said in harrys head

  • HEDWIG DIED?!?!!??!!?!?!!!?! ='(

  • @staubfc have you not read the books?

  • Here's a fact about number 15: See everybody knows there are two versions of the first book: The Philosopher's Stone and The Sorcerer's Stone. The Philosopher's Stone is the British book while The Socerer's Stone was for Americans. Since Bloomsbury Publisher was going to publish it, they thought that Americans wouldn't know what a philosopher is so they changed it to Sorcerers. J.K. Rowling resented it but since it is was her first book being accepted to publish, she didn't want to anger him. :)

  • 16- and green is slytherins colors!!

  • is it just me ro did seven just get forgotten, the best of all numbers

  • Well, most of these things could be coincidence, you know...while writing a book for children, Joanne didn't really think of amounts of symbols in things of colours or numbers, I think...it's just the good feeling you have while writing...I know that very well ...later on, people try to interpret every single word your wrote, sung or said but in fact you just said what seemed the right thing to say and so forth...know what I mean?

  • @Ritterjaegerjaeger I agree you to the fullest! I donßt wanna say JR haven´t think about her book, hell no, but sometimes fans tend to much into it. Like we do sometimes in our German-lessons at school. -.-"

  • yay jk rowlings is in hufflepuff like me! :)

  • Cool facts!

  • 22. Because Voldemort's wand was made of Yew - something that attracts evil, Harry's wand was made of Holle - something that repels evil!

    28. Ravenclaw's symbol is an eagle not a raven, although in the movies it's shown as a raven!

  • i always knew dumbeldore was gay

  • "Never tickle a sleeping dragon"

    LOL.

  • I muted.

  • I'd be either a Hufflepuff or a Gryffindor. Sorting Hat quizzes are never sure

  • Green is associated with negative events, part of the Slytherin house colors are Green. LOL J.K. Rowling is so biased! Have you guys noticed the first name and the last name of the Hogwarts founders begin with the same letter? Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin.

  • 18. what? that would mean he was 20 when he was in the sorcerers stone

  • @SharkweekFanatic1 That is Harry Potter's birthday, not Daniel Radcliffe's. Harry Potter and the Philosophers/Sorcerers Stone was set in 1991.

  • @SharkweekFanatic1 that is hilarious!!

  • @SharkweekFanatic1 No it doesnt.. The first book takes place in 1991, which means Harry is 11.

And think you are a true fan.

  • i didnt know half of this stuff

  • that's odd about the colors. green is usually associated with nature, a good thing. raven claw is blue which makes sense because blue is sometimes associated with wisdom.

  • Next time allow your slides to be just a bit longer. I had to pause some in order to read.

  • 7?

  • @CharmaineRAWR oops thats embarrassing, i didn't mean to leave that out hahha good eyes for noticing that

  • @ThePiinkMouse I think its you for having the good eyes the way you spot all these mistakes and facts.

  • sorry but no.4 is not realy a potter fact. But other then that realy good

  • @HarryPotterFan968 i agree
