doesn't the rear disc conversion kit from a 510 fit to this? from what i've compared, the 510 looks almost identical from under the car. if they are the same, or atleast close enough, that means aircooled front discs could fit to this car too. aaaaand since you've lowered (the hell out of) it, i'd suggest you get the driveshaft conversion too. they're all costly, but well worth it!
Sure, any brake upgrade is gonna help in my case :-) But the logical next step would be to go up to some sort of 4 piston front calipers and larger/thicker front discs. The Nismo Mk63 kit would be nice, but I kinda have to win the lottery first :-)
@MX5Dorifto well if i was you, i'd replace the regular discs with modern air cooled ones and better calipers from some other (modern as well) car. from an e30 beemer for example (calipers only). then i'd put the regular discs to the back. the fading is due to only 1 factor: heat. the front discs absolutely need to be air cooled. trust me i know, i've got a car with the same configuration as your car has (regular discs at front, drums at the back) and they wear out fast and fade sooooper fast.
but that's just me :D, this car is awesome in every way... but the brakes :D
