  • @BGKO1992

Yeah, if u want the car dragging on the ground!!!! Hell no they won't fit; they're 14-15 inch wheels. But there are companies who make the same "style" of wheel in modern dimensions. I take it u mean the Magnum 500 styled wheels and they are abundant in 18-22 inch sizes.

  • i have a quistion in mind that i wanted to ask for YEARS ! is it possible to install a 1970s dodge chargers rims on a 2008 dodge charger ?

  • 3:28 Whoever supplies the info Motorweek needs to go back and do better research. None of the 60's and 70's Dodge/Plymouth Musclecars were body on frame. They were all unibody.

  • Stupid people complaining about weight.....it's a Muscle Car....not a fucking civic.

  • god there cooler than the camaro . id buy ford and dodge. f chevy in the butt!

  • the jeep grand cherokee srt8 is the only srt8 that comes with awd

  • @macktenful i thought the charger is available with part time awd. i know the v6 and 5.7 is so i thought the srt8 was also, might just be thinkin of the 5.7 r/t

  • @GMCman82 they didnt come with awd atlaest i dont think so

  • @macktenful if id does its my car of choice. ya i like the style of the challenger more than the charger, but the charger is more practical for me being it has 4 doors and part time awd for the winter time

  • @GMCman82 yeah the challenger and grand cherokee srt8s are my favorites

  • @macktenful yeah i love the retro style of the challenger, to me there is no better looking car on the road as far as modern muscle goes. camaro should have done the same. still looks good but it adopted the sports car look. the interior looks fine but have you seen the gauge cluster and instrument panel with the colors? looks goofy as hell. the shifter looks like a boner and the knobs reminds me of a couple of tits. the gauges are on the floor behind the shifter, seems dangerous to me.

  • @GMCman82 dodge has the best shifter in there sports cars

  • v6 in this car is epic fail

  • @deutschkartoffelkind its not the v6 its the power it makes that failed

  • @xxxxxminexxxxx

yes but the v8 is better in every way... i want to buy this car in summer 2011

and the v6 is really cheap, but i never would buy it! the srt8 is a must have.

even the rt 5.7 is not good for me, because when i know that my car exists just with a bigger engine i would hate my own car :D

  • i cant wait until the new hemi comes in 2012

  • @macktenful the 6.4 will be in the challenger for 2011, they will be at dealerships in january

  • @Moparman58 And I cant wait

  • I've always liked the Camaro, and Mustang, but I think the Challenger looks the most like it's old brother...

  • i cant hear this shit

  • The challenger's rear seat is more roomy than they make it out to be in this video.

I'm a little over 6'2 by the legs whereas my sister is 5'5. She sat up front while I was in the back and we had PLENTY of room and comfort. In fact, I was much more comfortable in the mopar than I am in our family's 2005 accord.

  • No new vehicle beats the retro lines. Camaro should have done the same. Very dissapointed with chevy

  • Nice looking car, but when you see my Pontiac coming, you better Go The Other way!

  • The thing is a pig. WAY WAY WAY too heavy. I test drove a manual on the dealers lot and was very disappointed.

  • nope, nope, nope, nope like the old one better, and um? the EPA 13/19 suckss

  • words can hardly describe the srt8 i love it!

  • looked too big when I saw it on the road, but I love it now.

  • Didnt think it looked as good as the original when it first came out, but this car has grown on me loads, and i bet it is a lot easier to drive than the original, but, no where near as much fun.. A 71' R/T 440 6pack was the meanest machine ever made!! Bar none..

  • Chrysler is screwing up by not making a convertible version of this car.

  • its a great looking car and the performance may not be the best but it works to beat most of the cars on the road

it would be nice to drop in a AMG 6.2 all aluminum V8 in one :) less weight and 80+hp

  • Heeey guys quit the bitchin about the challenger being too heavy, well the original 1970 challenger was a 3800+lbs car that is not lightweight compared to the camaro's and mustang's back then.

  • is that thingy fast or what?

    or just a wannabe?

  • GT500 eats this for breakfast!

  • roger tht. this vehicle is too heavy. thought i do like the body lines

  • i agree...everyone knocks the GT500 for being heavy, and righfully so...only the challenger is still heavier, and underpowered for such a heavy car. hell its only a few ticks faster than the bullit GT for about 30K less. considering the markup on challengers which puts their price at about 70K or so, you could get a comparably equipped GT5O0 and spank it STOCK. almost a full sec. to 60 (4.5v 5.1) and 1/4 mile(12.7v 13.3-5)

  • thought GT500 was about 4.3 seconds and the Challenger about 4.7? if the challenger is over 5.1 thats very disapointing. wont a stock GT beat that?

  • 4.3 is doable if the driver is very good...motortrend compared these two cars and noted that the 4.3 to 60 is possible if the driver is very good. the video noted a 5 sec 0-60 but thats still over half a sec slower than the GT500. factory el-cheapo deluxe trim GT's run about 5.3 to 60. somehow-someway a slower car beat a faster car because it looked better and had IRS. i hate how they shit on a live axle when thats whats under the FR500C and that runs circles around M3's 350Z's

  • isn't the GT500 supercharged? hmmm.......it should beat it then. why compare it with this, supercharged, not supercharged, not very fair there bud.

  • no its not fair, but you can blame Dodge for that. Ford's top modular engines have been SC'ed since the '03 cobra, and again with the GT500. Dodge and GM powerplants go about their power with cubes, minus the SC'ed ZR1 of course. all OHV engines need cubes to make power. the way the modular is designed, it doesnt allow for alot of cubes, so they are kept down. displacement is compensated for by adding a power adder, I.E. a supercharger. either way its american muscle and thats all that matters!

  • Awsome car. Great job on the retro design. Saw one in person and was disappointed with how mammoth the car was. Now I get why it weights over 4,000 pounds. It's just too damn junky. With the high belt line (typical of cars these days and I HATE), it must feel like driving an army tank. If you want one of these and can afford it, the SRT8 is the way to go, but with that god awful fuel mileage and premium requirement, I'd be happy with the V6 SE for every day driving.

  • this car is bound to be a collectors dream.

  • yeah brampton baby I seen one the first week they were done I was picking up a part for a my jeep from dealership

  • it is not a Detroit product.

    proudly made in Brampton, Ontario!

  • its a little chunkier than i hoped.. its got great horsepower but i dont think i like the styling as much as i did on the concept. something about the front end... oh well im sure itll sell.

  • well from 0-60mph .. 4.7s - 4.9s

    and 1/4mile .. 13-13.2

i saw the Edmunds reveiw on T.V
