Actually, there is a point in using this pedal. I am going to use it on a fender tube amp, so I can have it all... Sparkling cleans, spring reverb, and that Marshall overdrive sound. Perfect.
@mojoefly plexitube is more of a Brit sound, trimode goes more toward american overdrive-distortion. plexitube feels like its designed to be able to get heavier.
Nice demoI ihave this and the Trimode and they are hands down the sounding and best bang for the buck pedals out there.Nothing matches there veritility and voicing options. And my rig is a true stereo two amp set up and with the stereo outs the tonebone's offer its yet another option to take advantage of,not to mention the true bypass feature. For 300,show me a pedal that can touch these.

Points off for having your amp quieter than the string noise from the guitar itself.

it is an awesome pedal, but you somehow make it sound like my boss ds 1

compressor > ts9 > plexitube > any amp > beast tone.

can you set one channel dirty/clean and the other full distortion at the same volume?

@ChunMusicStudio there's no point using plexitube at all. JVM is not so far from Plexi.
