  • Back in the 1980's the owner of Ansett, Sir Peter Ables made a binding promise to the F/E's that there would always be an FE on any aircraft that had more that 200 seats. Consequently he had to get Boeing to fit a special F/E's panel.

  • @crashcra Interesting. Totally defeated the purpose of the Boeing 767 EFIS cockpit, which was designed to eliminate the FE!!

  • Why did Ansett get the 762s with a 3 person flight deck agian and the over head panal is so emptiy compared to a normal 767

  • Bless you crashcra!!! There are thousands of people hopelessly looking for any kind of picture of a 67 FE panel and you have an hour long movie of it! Thank you so much and PLEASE dont take away this upload! AK

  • awesome vid!

  • That was the 2nd last time I was in that aircraft and mangage to get a pic taken in the capt's seat. Also I met the same first officer again the second time from Sydney to Brisbane. Awesome bloke. The first time I met the first officer was from YSSY to YBBN IN VH-RME and again and the last time I saw him was from YSSY to YBBN in VH-RMM. I belive his name was ROD or Ron Allan

  • did any of these crew fly the b727 for ansett or air express?

  • Wow, Thanks for the upload. Very interesting to see a 3 man crew 767. I can see most of the system intruments on the the main overhead panel are moved to the engineers desk.
