Mês passado eu tava passando na Rua do Lavradio - Rio - e ouvi uma música contagiante. Perguntei ao vendedor que música era aquela e ele disse : "Banda Black Rio". Que pena que eu não tinha grana na hora.

Hi! Just wanted to comment that this is my brother's "Claudio Stevenson" song who was an arranger and guitar player from the Original Banda Black Rio from Brazil. He passed away but is really cool to see his music here too.

Well,I created a My Space page for him and it's been a beautiful surprise to see that in Europe and Japan they became very popular on the early 00's to present.I just wanted to say that all the musicians from the "Original Banda Black Rio " 1976-1984 ,are not associated at all with the new Black Rio,exept for Oberdan who passed away in 1984.

Have you listened to the CD title MOVIMENTO ? It is great like the old ones. Curiously, It will be easier to find in USA than in Brasil.
