  • What is this man babbling about? Tony Kushner is not a dramatist, he has chronic diarrhea of the mouth.

  • Mr. Tony Kushner.

    Great interview!

And for everyone else great comments.

    But honestly.

Is anyone going to comment on his mannerism?

I can watch you gesture all day.

  • Dear Signature,

This play is the best play I have ever seen in my adult life. Thank you, Mr Kushner!

  • I really wish I could see this play.

But, I can't afford the cost of plane tickets all the way from California to New York City, not to mention how much it would cost to get a hotel room for a couple of nights so that I could see both Millennium Approaches and Perestrioka.

It's pretty sad because Angels in America is such an amazing play and Christian Borle and Zachary Quinto are two of my most favorite actors.

Oh well. Is there anyway you could film the show and post it on the internet?

  • @SamiBerri I'm going and I live in UT. I'm staying only 3 nights, air on Delta is fairly cheap but not sure from CA. Hotel right down the street from the theatre has a double bed for $140 a night, not bad for NYC. I wish I could tour the city but will at least get to see both parts of the play.

  • @Iluthra

Really. I can't afford it. Believe me, I already looked into how much it would cost me, and sadly, I don't have the money. All I have is the money I've managed to save from a temporary job I had over the summer. It's less than a thousand dollars. I go to school, paid for by a scholarship, full time, and don't have the time to find another job.

Short of having a friend go and record the performance for me, there is no way for me to see the play.

Give my regards to the cast for me.

  • @SamiBerri

Even Andrew Sullivan wrote that Tony Kushner's work was strident and interminable. For my own part, I have never seen such self-love on camera. That man is so full of himself I don't know how he walks erect.
