All these mega churches are, are business's feeding off the money of the elderly, disadvantaged, and crippled. They take these peoples money every day, millions of it. Just because we have the ability to think on an intellectual level does not mean that we're better than every other creature on this planet. When you die, your dead. You dont go to some magical place where everything is ok, there is no evidence of that. It doesn't make sense. The church just brain washes naive people who are scared to die, into thinking that everything is going to be ok.

In many ways, Christians have messed up but all religions including agnostics mess it up.. What is wrong with believing in a place that is better than here? What is there to lose? Either I die and am just dead OR I go to a real place called heaven. No one gets hurt for believing - just like a dreamer doesn't get hurt for coming up with ideas that seem impossible like computers!

I was raised in the church of christ as an evangelical for my entire life(until i was 18).My mom was a devout christian, my father never paid to much concern for the church, a good man but not religious. I was told over and over as a child that my father wouldn't go to heaven because he wasn't a christian. Religion has been the root of every war since the beginning of humanity.NOBODY KNOWS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DIE, so shut the fuck up.
