@colins911 First, thank you for the compliment. Unfortunately, I play strictly by ear as I am self taught. I cannot read music or tabs, so I have none to offer, I'm sorry.
@borgrif thank you for getting back to do you know where i can get then from as i would love to learn to play it thank you again for your great playing rgs
@colins911 Actually, since I don't use tabs or sheet music I really have no idea. My suggestion would be to do a Google search or try Amazon.com. I wish I could be of more help, I'm sorry.
@yahoochiewatchie Thank you! The circles are 5/8" rubber grommets from the hardware store. When you have a substantial distance between the bridge and the tailpiece, the strings in that area can vibrate due to sympathetic vibration and cause overtones or subharmonics that some people like and some don't. I don't. Some players interlace a piece of felt there, or a piece of leather. I have a friend that uses an old folded up dollar bill. The grommets were easy and reusable forever.
Hey Bear meister brother........cant wait for the video !
keep up the good tunes man. and you know, id bet you a bunch of cash that Mr Eddy thinks you play pretty good, and im sure it was his privilege to jam with you !
@gary5749 It sure would be nice to think that Duane enjoys my playing although he is way out of my league. We did have a really good time that night. ANother thing to scratch off the bucket list.
@hammer59700 Through the Gretsch Pages, Duane and I have become good friends and talk often. He and his lovely wife, Deed, came to my home last year and we jammed together for hours. It is hard to put into words what jamming with your idol feels like. Duane has been, is and always will be my favorite guitarist. Your compliment about having the Duane feeling is very much appreciated, thank you Hamer59.
@joey324100 Thank you. It is most definitely true I have a ton of pictures to prove it and a friend who was there at the same time is editing the video we shot. It was the thrill of a lifetime.
You know brother, im thinking you could make great music with a stick and a string !

@sleepytimegalz That is so nice of you to say Phyllis. I am so glad you enjoyed my little tribute. I also hope your week is a perfect one for you and yours.
Hey Bear. You and I know what it is like to spend an entire afternoon with The King Of Twang. It was an unforgettable day for me to get to meet you and to spend the afternoon jamming with you and Duane Eddy, along with our good friend, Tim. You do a great job on this tune and it is a great tribute. Keep that big ol' Bear smile going. Remember, I'm your pal.
@RichardBaguley I am honored greatly by your comment Richard. You are a fabulous player and for someone of your ability to compliment my meager ability really feels good. Thank you so very much.
@PhilCLG4 Thank you Phil. I tried my best to do justice to my good friend Duane Eddy. He has always been and will always be my favorite guitarist. As a child, I idolized him and it is such a great honor and thrill to have become close friends with him.
Bear, that was absolutely brilliant. I will never forget the first time I heard Rebel Rouser. I was sixteen in 1958 and those opening two notes stil make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. All the best, Arf
@RhandirQH Fiirst, I want to thank all of you again for your many compliments and @RhandirQH I still feel that way when I hear Duane play. He was and still is my favorite guitarist of all time and having the chance to jam with him and become good friends.is a dream come true. as I said in the video, if I had not heard Duane on the radio, I probably would not play guitar. Thank you, Duane Eddy!
Bear, your pal Richard here. Right now I am thinking that is the most beautiful version of "Unchained Melody" I have ever heard. You have paid tribute to one of the greatest. God bless you, my brother. LuvUmuch
