@qwertyelliott and at the high elevation in Colorado, it starts to make boost too late in the rpm band around 3500 rpm. At sea level it started making boost at 1500rpm with the 15psi pulley.

@qwertyelliott The supercharger is no longer on this car, I took it off 2 years ago and sold it to a friend.

This is an old Revolution Autoworks kit. They are no longer in business and you cant buy one of these kits new. Youd have to find one used on the sentra forums. It ran 4300 bucks. Looking back, I could have had a 350-400whp turbo sentra for that kind of cash.

I have an 04 just like yours, except i have the skyline body kit on it. the engine is pretty much stock except intake. It is 176 peak whp whaat can i do to get up?

@jimnop Some go the easy way and turbo it, some go the easier way and drop a tank of no2 in there. Some go the hard way and run it high compression. If you turbo, stock internals are good up to 9-15 psi so long as your tune is good. If your tune is crap, it wont matter how much psi youre running. Same with no2. Tune is key. Youll have to upgrade the fuel pump, injectors, get some kind of fuel management computer, run another vacuum setup and blah blah blah. Jump on a Setnra forumpoijhonoajethp d

@spoolinspecv id love for you to show me where you did this.. i have completely forged internals, built suspension, brakes, 70 trim turbo setup at 20psi and a 40 point roll cage. my car makes 487whp and 457tq on dyno at 5500rpm. Jim wolf technology custom made everything for my car, and it cost me 12000 under my hood alone. you cant even upgrade your cams for 300 dollars so id love to see your chart and the part/parts your tALKING about to make 250 out of a stock specV.

These cars are not worth upgrading or dumping money into. They are just too slow with or without the upgrades. I have an 05 with header intake downpipe and catback exhaust and it is still way too slow. Paying off and getting a cobra mustang.

@Darthfrancisss1 well just to let you know bolt ons are basic and a cobra is the top sports car ford makes next too the gt so why don't you go buy an old skyline and play around with that, nothing against the cobra but the equal of the sentra is the focus.gets some cams and higher compression pistons and tune it then you'll see some difference then throw a 50 shot on top and you'll be into the twelves guaranteed.

Best Egine for you car if you want a V6 on it would be the JDM. QR30DET. I have seen a few swaps and they work pretty good. I myself have 2002 SER With Jimwolf Second Stage over head cams headers and costum Catback. I m planing on puting Nissmo headers without the cat. So far NO honda can take me. well just the V6, and not by much

i haven't ever heard of that engine...the potential a VQ35 has is amazing...i'm not much of a fan of the sr20 myself,i'd rather try and drop in an RBD25 than that...but a 3.5 makes sense..you'd be putting down 250 WHP on a car that light STOCK..you turbo it and build the engine the results are endless.

@0verd0se87 first of all, a stock 350z comes with 313 hp, so in all actuality.. the sentra being the lighter of the 2 cars. you may be getting a set horsepower at somewheres around 310.. but the sentra still gonna win being lighter..

@x04bluespecx um correction..a Z at best has 270 bhp on a dyno..they sell it to have 300,but it's lower than that...the motor itself doesn't give you 300+ stock..it's other parts like the air box and exhaust that put it over 300.

my engine is all stock except for cams. many say its pointless unless you go turbo or supercharger. i think its worthy of dumping 10 grand into the engine. when its done it will be pushing 600-700 whp easy.

Yeah, Ive raced a few people. I win sometimes, but Im not done with the car by far. By the time I am, there wont be many people who will be able to keep up lol. But for now, the car is nothing too special.

As for whats better, the Civic Si or Sentra SE-R Spec V... Both have their pros and cons...

The Civic Si has a lot of aftermarket support. You can do a lot with it and most likely for cheaper than you could a Spec V. Its easy to make power with a Civic Si and it has the high redline which is good for your top end power which is where you need it most. However, it doesnt have the torque that the Spec V does and its 2.0 liter is half a liter smaller than the Spec V.

The Spec V has some decent aftermarket support, but if you want to make some decent power with it, you will have to do a lot of things on your own cuz you cant just go online and buy what you need to make a standalone engine management system and things like that. The torque the 2.5L engine that the Spec V has is very fun to drive. However many complain that the low redline is just too low. In the 07+ model Spec Vs, the redline has been raised from 6250 to 7000rpm which is nice.

lol. drunk azz. been there while working on a car, but never on video. I had fully bolted, then juiced, then stripped and turbo charged my specv. Finally after having to replace the motor, i parted it out and got a new car.  Good luck with yours, i was following the supercharger kit development before i finally parted ways with it.

Hahah, I was done with working on it, thats when I started to drink lol. It was like 3am when I recorded this and the header was open lol Im sure I woke up some neighbors! I could have taken it for a quick spin around the neighborhood and woke everyone up, but Im not that much of a dick! The supercharger is a great kit, but it doesnt perform to its full potential up here at this high altitude. Its got a 12psi pulley on it but only pushes 9.5psi up here.
