  • i've seen this video 6 times in a row and still ain't enough

  • watch?v=IcimCvfCZPw&list=UUfKQYiPDQU-o7O_0vgoHZSA&index=1&feature=plcp

    WAIT FOR SLEEP re-make, guys...

  • my brother knows DT from their Majesty days on Long Island, the whole band visited my house when I was like 12!! lol early 90's

  • How he can mix strings and piano? Because strings made different notes than piano. HOW HE CAN? IT IS NOT HUMAN! IT IS A GENIUS!

  • Stunning

  • Epic song.

  • Best version of this song...this and "Surrounded" was what got me into this band.

  • Awesome version!

  • Come on guys, you can't be serious. Kevin is great but Jordan is untouchable.

  • @t4sos1234 Kevin = feeling, JR=technique. Can't really compare them. Feeling and technique are 2 different things.

  • @Neueregel What i dont really get is why the one who plays worst have better "feeling" than the other one, many people gets overrated with that argument, but can you tell me how dod you know who plays with more "feeling"? because i truly cant

  • @Celticmetalist "plays worst" Really? How do you define 'playing worst?" It's all a matter of taste. It doesn't matter if you play 50 notes per second and sounds like audio masturbation.

  • @Neueregel actually not, you should go back and watch sesame street, because you dont seem to understand what better or worst means, obviously is not a matter of taste but of skill, and rudess have prove many times that he overcomes in both creativity and skill most keyboardists and pianist in the world.

PS: you didnt answer my question...

  • In all honesty. I love Kevin Moore. And he put DT into an amazing place to flourish and become the powerhouse they are today. His leaving was probably the best thing as well. Jordan Rudess is a fucking Wizard. Remember people, He did Through My Words, These Walls, and epic pieces from Train of Thought (looking at you Endless Sacrifice), The Count of Tuscany, Unison solo on Lost Not Forgotten, the opening to Bridges in the Sky, Vacant, and Far from Heaven. Jordan Rudess is modern Dream Theater.

  • 19 dislikes?!?!!?!??!?!??!?!? this is the best fucking song ever i prefer that purple haze, love me two times or other songs disappear after lossing this awesome song really......

  • Kevin Moore, Its just pure Magic. I am looking forward to his new OSI album in January.

  • arriva Kevin Moore de poca madre

  • i had an interesting story about this music, i once had a fluid mechanics class. i forgot to silence my cell phone and suddenly a message came and i got panicked. my lecturer, an Ph.D., stared at me and said "do you like dream theater? we could talk about it once class finished" . i didn't say anything...even PhD like this music

  • "Water can't cover her memory; and ashes can't answer her pain......" I remember the best lyrics I've ever heard....1993...best song ever. Then and now....I shall still wait for sleep... :)

  • 1991 — 1994. Since then it's not the same anymore. Kevin leaves the band, Kevin James rapes his chords and loses his range, grit and power. Simply their best times, best songs, best shows.

  • I prefer few notes of Moore, rather than a thousand notes of Jordan.

  • I fall in love with Moore's melodies.

  • I simply love Kevin's ability to leave space for the other instruments. It is difficult to play less. Only a person with true artistic vision knows when to play and when to not. Obviously, this song is a keyboard driven song and simply ingenious.

  • awesome

  • So majestic. It's the Images and Words days and songs such as this one that, imho, represent the true DT magic.

  • Simply unbelievable ... THE GREATEST PROG METAL BAND OF HISTORY !

I think that with IMAGES AND WORDS and AWAKE they've reached peaks that can never be overcome .

And last, you're right ... Jordan Rudess is a monster but Kevin Moore had a different feeling ...

  • E ainda dizem que o Labrie não é um bom cantor.Blasfêmia!!!!

  • Jordan Rudess is better

  • What the??????? What's all of this...."He could sing better then, he has more feeling, his lyrics are better" shut up, this is Dream Theater, one of the best if not the best progressive metal band, and it's not me saying that, it's the experts. Dream Theater hasn't change, their style of music gives them that freedom of doing anything, their the best, period, more then 25 years back them up....so.....shut up and enjoy DT

  • exelente tema, pero lo mejor es que despues viene "learning to live"

  • K. Moore Made the best lyrics in the DT discography in only three albums: Wait for Sleep, Surrounded, Only a Matter of Time, Space Dye Vest, and the only comercial hit of DT until the date Pull me under.

You can play many notes by second, but the feeling that Moore printed to DT made the golden age in their discography

  • I sent this clip in higher quality, so if anyone wants to see it then I invite you warmly to my channel. Greetings to fans of DT! :)

  • Kevin Moore has the style. Best period DT was with him. Rudess is just a torrent of notes.

  • I really don't like dream theater that much anymore

but I still dig like 100 songs of them.

wait for sleep have some strange and unique vibe.

    god bless dream theater 1991 - 2004

  • Rudess is the best key player for DT ever. The last two cd's with him are the best thing that DT has made since images and words.

If you don't agree just listen to Ministry of lost souls or the Count of Tuscany.

  • Why all the hate for Rudess? DT would have changed regardless of who was on keys. For a band to be around 25 years they would have to evolve. If they sounded exactly the same, the band and the fans would get bored.

  • @2008ol And Rudess participed in Scenes from a memory...

  • what's that bullshit "LaBrie could sing back then" His voice haven't changed a bit since 1992 in my opinion. He has taken care of his voice better than any other singer on this mother fucking earth!!

  • In with the ashes! or up with the smoke from the fire.

With wings up in heaven! or here lying in bed

  • Kevin was great as could be, but I don't think any of you who think that Rudess was a horrible addition to DT have actually heard the things he writes ON HIS OWN.

  • @VanishingDigital Yeah he's a genius, but very different from kevin moore.

  • this is the most tender song of the world !

  • this is most tender song ot the world !

  • kevin has a far nicer playing style i do agree but think about jordans overture and the great debate from six degrees it's almost unfathomable, he's not a less emotional player he just triggers a different type of emotions.

  • @halo3forlyfe true that man true that

  • its so majestic. just listen to the extreme picture it create!

  • Hey. lets not say bad stuff about Jordan, or DT as of now being more technical and having lost their passion. They are the band they are not because of their first 4 or so albums, they are because of everything they've done. Lets face it, no band has built so many stories in peoples hearts within the story of 5 very talented young men. rudess or moore, both are more than respectable musicians.

  • es simplemente la mejor interpretacion...vocalmente y ejecutada a la perfeccion....me estremese la intro es la cancon de mi vida.

  • DT Played so smooth in these times and with "more groove". specialy portnoy. now you ear portnoy playing a clean song as well as heavy song in the cymbals. its is style and we cannot do nothing, but i miss portnoy from 1993/1994 . but he continues to be one of the best in the world!

  • I think they have progressed in terms of musical skills, but in my opinion they have lost their feeling, the songs are much more technical and less touching, back in the begining they could be very technic and still write music that touch. I dont know, but the last song that I remember one could find this, was lines in the sand. Again, this is just my opinion.

  • @efreesen well youve got the best of times, thats a touching one, id say

  • People stfu about Jordan being bad for DT and missing their old stuff. If you miss it...LISTEN TO IT! They have progressed. They have changed. They wouldn't be the perfect band they are if they wrote "Wait for sleep" or any other track on Images and Words 40 times and just played the same thing over and over...If you listen to "Count of Tuscany" and don't think it's a beautiful song, then idk what your problem is. All phases of DT are unique and wonderful in their own way.

  • Quantos por aí não esperam para dormir em paz???!? Mas haaaaa... memória, que não deixa!!!!!

  • amazing track

  • This is the Dream Theater that I miss - artistic, passionate, and daring enough to experiment and not settle into a routine that they have seemed to these days. Jordan Rudess was the worth thing that happened to DT. With Moore, DT had the perfect balance between the chops of Petrucci and Portnoy and the graceful, artistic playing of Moore. And yes, La Brie could sing back then.

  • @sweetnothing1977 I miss them too. Their new stuff is just not the same as Images or Awake. Hell, even A Change of Seasons was good. Moore had some out-there lyrics, but that was part of the unique-ness of the band.

  • @JBlinky67 out there? i find Petrucci's lyrics to be out-there/lame. Moore's lyrics are beautiful!

  • @sweetnothing1977 "Jordan Rudess was the worth thing that happened to DT"

I disagree. They are different types of keyboard players. Rudess has a great variation of resources and brings a lot of Dream Theater, he makes the machine running and well complemented with petrucci, portnoy, myung (do not forget myung).

I recognize that there are fewer songs "slow", but the power of the songs are also a symbol of admiration and even more enforcement in vivo.

In my opinion, dream theater has progressed.

  • @chochosymphony I respect your opinion and your right to disagreeing with my opinion. I think in the end it probably comes down to individual tastes. The 'new' DT doesn't excite me very much. I still find the poetry and music on A Change of Seasons to be extremely moving. That said I have nothing against the 'new' DT. I wish them the best.

  • @sweetnothing1977 agree, except labrie can still sing. he just had some bad years, but he's been plain awesome for at least 5 years now.

  • @sweetnothing1977 although I don't really agree with you on the Jordan Rudess part, I do think that their musical style is changing, (I still love btw) they're becoming a bit more modern... but still it's one of the best bands in world IMO

  • Comment removed

  • @sweetnothing1977

"And yes, La Brie could sing back then."

    good point...:D

  • @sweetnothing1977 You forgot Myung. He's the bass player, but he's part of the band too. xD

  • @sweetnothing1977

Let's say that Moore had a quite good plenty of good progressive ideas for Dream Theater, this song included.

But, come on... Jordan Rudess has way more experienced than Moore, also in my opinion Rudess has a wide variety of tastes and that's where the feeling of his compositions come from.

  • @sweetnothing1977 That's inaccurate. I miss this Dream Theater too, but it is not Rudess's fault; you delude yourself believing such things.

To say that is to believe that his influence was that which changed DT into what they have been more recently, when it's common fact that DT's modern sound was established under Portnoy's overwhelming direction.

Should you blame the actor solely for his bad performance if he was under bad direction?

  • @sweetnothing1977 While they may have had great chemistry with Kevin, there wasn't a whole lot they could've done. It's not like they kicked him out or anything. He left on his own. They didn't feel any real connection with Derek and they found something in Jordan during their time in Liquid Tension. It's not really for us to say. Jordan's talented and brings a lot to DT these days. And yes, LaBrie could sing much better then. He also looks a lot like Bruce Campbell with long hair in this vid...

  • @sweetnothing1977 Idunno, I think Jordan is good. Images and Words is 20 years ago. Things are gonna change.

  • @sweetnothing1977 James can still sing. Unlike Tate. I agree, Jordan gets really tiresome. In yesterday concert(my first DT concert ever) I only heard one chord out of his piano with feeling. He's a racer.

  • that is some nice ass celestial thing going on.

  • Jordan Rudess is way better than Kevin Moore, and not just about the virtuosity, Jordan has beautiful compositions with Dream Theater (Through Her Eyes, Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence, Finally Free, One Last Time, Wither, Forsaken, The Best Of Times, The Spirit Carries On, I Walk Beside You and many others...)

  • @nikkomoore o come on--he didnt write finally free--it was written with sheranian as was the rest of the album. Compositionally they are hacks compared to Moore.

  • @vivace679 what????did you even listen metropolis part 2 first version? Jordan compose almost every keyboard part of that disc, there are only a couple of riffs that came out in the final metropolis part 2 (Overture 1928 and Strange Deja Vu). I´m not saying that I don´t like Kevin Moore, I´m just saying that the band is better now. Even Portnoy recognized it in an interview, he said that with Moore they weren't comfortable writing music, but with Rudess they have amazing chemistry.

  • @nikkomoore yes i did listen to it many times and in fact ALL THE IDEAS are already there. For instance you listed one last time as an example of rudess compositional prowess--yet that piece is there exactly sans vocals on the sheranian demo. Do some research Sheranian was the compositional force behind SFAM. As well Moore was there when ACOTS was written. There have been absolutely no interesting compositions since Moore and Sheranian. I dotn listen to OSI Blood tell me who did what...

  • @vivace679 IN MAKING SCENES FROM A MEMORY, JORDAN RUDESS PLAYED THE KEYBOARD, NOT DEREK SHERINIAN!

  • Comment removed

  • @nikkomoore look for this: Dream Theater - interview (Falling Into Infinity)

the question session clearly shows sheranian wrote it.

  • @vivace679 of course he did it, but the first version, a 20-minute song called Metropolis Part 2, and as I said, some ideas were used only in overture 1928 and strange deja vu, just that, the 1999 realease were writted by Jordan Rudess (he even changed the Sherinian parts). Inform yourself before make an opinion.

  • @nikkomoore ......he changed some part...thats a LOT different than creating them!

the fact is that you incorrectly claimed that he wrote material that he did not that was in fact written by someone else. You should make more accurate comments since you are so well informed.

  • @vivace679 by changing some parts I mean that Petrucci, Portnoy and Myung used their riffs but Rudess created his own material.

  • @nikkomoore by the way i have the 20 minute demo and it contains `one last time' which you have credited to rudess

  • @vivace679 but if you listen well there aren't any of the piano parts that Rudess created. Maybe the other guys used the old riffs, but Jordan create every single note of the keyboard in that song

  • @nikkomoore LOL big deal!!...the chords were all there the melody, the song!! He played his own part OK but sorry he doesnt get credit for that song--he did his own version thats different than writing a song. Just like a cover is usally different than the original...anyhow look the emperor has no clothes -- im sorry but they have sucked since moore/sheranian as much as i wish it were otherwise.

on the other hand Moores recent stuff is fabulous check out OSI Blood

  • @vivace679 they are better than ever, their last release, BC&SL was acclaimed by the critics, as well as Metropolis Pt 2 and SDOIT. If you check out Moore solo album Music Meant To Be Heard it really suck, he released a Space Dye Vest version without any instrument and singed by some guy and it sounds like shit, as well as the other songs. He suck without DT, and if you ask anyone about who band is better between OSI and Liquid Tension Experiment, everybody will tell you the same answer, LTE!!!

  • @nikkomoore well it seems we completely disagree. I cant listen to any of their recent material, its all completely derivative and i feel they have lost that magic they once had..on the other hand OSI's blood is a masterpiece and music meant to be heard while it was lower budget(obviously it was a demo) i really liked. what can i say...

  • @vivace679 I tottaly respect your point of view, I was just pointing my opinion and I sustain my beliefs.

I still recommend you to hear DT's new stuff without any prejudices (Stream Of Counciousness is very recommendable)

  • i like this song

    ^_^

  • I dare to say that's one of the most beautiful ballad in history of metal.

  • Kevin Moore is the dream in Dream Theater!

  • @Zakariah1971 that's true.

  • ...and pictures the chains

she's been trying to link again

    but the feeling is gone

and water can't cover her memory

and ashes can't answer her pain

god give the power to take a breath from a breeze

and call life from a cold metal frame...

  • awesome musicians no matter what they play or how you want to class them !!!

  • Maaaaaaaaaan, LaBrie used to be SO awesome !

  • I know alot people say Moore is better than Rudess, and although i agree with you, it was for the best that moore left. According to an interview with Mike Portnoy Moore was very stubbron and always wanted things done his way. I agree with all who say Moore has more feeling then Rudess, but Moore was just too stubboron for Dream Theater to go anywhere

  • wonderful!

  • OHHhhhhhh my GOD ,that was the Theater

  • Kevin Moore ! Yes ! :-)

  • Jordan Ruddess can play 25000 note/s, but he will never have the compositive genìus nor the touch of Kevin Moore.

  • @Suryaman78 Uhh... Blind Faith, Six Degrees and Metropolis pt 2 have amazing piano lines

  • @Suryaman78 I disagree.

  • @Suryaman78 have you ever heard The Answer Lies Within? Through Her Eyes? please cut the bullshit

  • @luisatriani Yes, I've listened to both and those songs have average piano and keyboard parts, there's totally no genius, nothing worth remembering and if you can't recognize it that's not my problem, it's yours.

  • @Suryaman78

    Kevin Moore the best ever.

  • @Suryaman78 I totally disagree! Also Jordan makes such a honorable job as Kevin...even if he's better as for the technical part.

  • @Suryaman78 According to Portney ( Before he left) Kevin is very hard to work with up until this day. They did some recent work and there was nothing he will let others contribute to his songs. That's gotta be a pain.

  • @einarabelc5 Being the compositive genius he is, he knows exactly how his songs should sound like, note by note, instrument by instrument and sound by sound. I can understand that this could be frustrating for other musicians working with him.

  • And that's why he's not in Dream Theater anymore. What's the point of being in a band if:

    1: You consider yourself a genius(whether you're or not)

2: You rub it in everyone's face(specially your bandmates who're not shabby at all) and do not colaborate.

3: You take yourself too seriously to subsede your ego.

Same thing happend to Mozart to the extreme of dying in misery. You die by your tongue my friend. No matter who you are, you are still human and you have to accept it.

  • @einarabelc5 your usage and syntax are all out of wack - you're either a really smart foreigner or a native speaker who needs to brush up on your English. You'll probably take this offensively so I apologize in advance - it's just very noticeable.

  • @Einsatsgruppen That's correct, English is not my native language. Thanks for your time and patience. You're a very rare youtube user. I have been struggling with those problems for a while. Don't worry about offending. That's incurred in the "how" you say things. And you did a terrific job of not only avoiding offense, but actually giving something in return, for free. That's admirable.

    Thanks!

  • @einarabelc5 you are quite welcome, amigo!

  • Bethoven died alone and bitter. Not only because of his deafness(which is easily cured now) but because of his arrogance(whether justified or not it will take you out).Arrogance it's important for oneself as it's a sicknes of the soul.Others can simply leave you alone. We carry ourselves wherever we go.

Why do you think they chose Mangini instead of Minnerman? They felt more comfortable with him. That's gotta say something.

  • @einarabelc5 after reading some more of your posts I have concluded that you are not a native English speaker - so I will give you a bit of advice with the language: we don't use "you're" for "you are" in your sentence "whether you're or not" - no one would say or type that - you must say "whether you are or not". Also, same thing with "who're not shabby" you CAN probably get away with this but its unnatural and sounds awkward to a native Speaker. And "subsede your ego" is incorrect.

  • @einarabelc5 use "stroke" or "assuage". Best of luck to you - your English is very good for a non native speaker - at this level you would do well to concentrate on the minor nuances of the language and focus on how native speakers say things. If you're an Arab I say to you 'marhaban bik, ya sadiqii'. God bless.

  • @Suryaman78

listen universal mind from liquid tension experiment ... the piano solo section is the demostration that you're wrong lol

  • "EPIC" isn't close enough to what this song is.

  • I still prefer Dream Theater with Kevin Moore

  • Bobby McGee, if you read this, please come back. You haven't been home in ages and I really need to know you're there.

  • If you like Kevin Moore, feel free to visit my fan website: The Mooreatorium. Search for it on Google.

  • Amazing! Can never get tired of this, timeless classic.

  • one of those 'feel good' DT songs along with hells kitchen. such simplicity- piano and voice, yet elegant in every way

  • Beautiful song...Bring me memories..

  • An orgasmic song !

  • to be this good u gota eat pigeons AND FEED ON SMALL MAMMALS

  • honestly i couldn't rank dream theaters albums, or songs. My favourite DT song and album is always changing, everything they make is fantastic, I love it all, even falling into infinity has some great tracks like lines in the sand or trial of tears, point is IMO all of DT's stuff is great and it'd be too hard to decide on one particular favourite album coz next week it'd be different :)

  • true

  • I absolutely adore that keyboard melody! I'm a bit of a newb to DT..Can anyone direct me to some more trippy songs like Scarred and Blind Faith pls?? would really appreciate your expertise :)

  • why don't you try Scenes from a memory? well I started from that album

  • @TineBealtine trippy like scarred and blind faith.... um thats a tough one

these are all great DT songs u should check out - a change of seasons, the count of tuscany, in the name of god, stream of consciousness, lifiting shadows off a dream, under a glass moon, take the time, hollow years (live at budokan version), there are SO many more great songs by them, the first few are 15 mins + so don't rush them :)

  • Thank you dearie :) I'll give them a listen

  • @TineBealtine Space Dye Vest

  • That's exactly along the lines I'm looking for, thanks :)

  • @TineBealtine

basically the whole of six degrees of inner turbulence.

  • I've listened to the great debate from Six Degrees and loved it aswell so if the entire album is that spacey, then I'll probably love it. Thanks for recommending :)

  • @TineBealtine

i should warn you though, the first track on it is pretty metal. so don't get turned off after the first song. after that it gets more experimental and spacey, especially misunderstood and disappear.

  • I'm all about the metal my man ;)

  • @TineBealtine

okay good lol well you're lookin for spacey stuff and while the album is pretty much like that, the first song isn't at all lol

  • Yep and I got what I asked for,listening to the Glass Prison right now and quite liking it. Many thank yous :}

  • I wanna hear Space Dye Vest so bad live

  • im afraid we never will

  • images and words the best xd

  • a shiver runs down my spine.. and it hurts. i love it!

  • The DT song that is my absolute favorite....from the "she that waits for sleep...." (and finds a little hope and peace as I drift to sleep listening to it...)

  • My favorite albums:

    1.Awake

    2.Scenes from Memory

    3.Six Degrees of ////////

    4.Images and Words

    5.Octavarium

  • i love the melodies they have, they just run through your head all day, this one is particularly haunting. i think i'm gonna learn to play it myself on my keyboard, too bad i dont have an actual piano to make it loud and then soft how it is in the song

  • Id Say... 1.Images & Words 2.Train of Thought 3.Black Clouds & Silver Linings 4.Scenes from the Memory (first one I heared) 5.Octavarium 6.When Dream and Day Unite 7.Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence (some songs are REALY awsome,but...yeah.I can´t help it.I rate the album realy low.) 8. A Change of Seasons (realy, not a bad album...or EP,what ever it was with the live) 9.Systematic Chaos (somewhere far behind) Awake Falling into Infinity
  • You really rank Awake that low? My list would be 1. Scenes from a Memory 2. Images & Words 3. Awake 4. Black Clouds & Silver Linings 5. Octavarium (first i heard) 6. Train of Thought 7. Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence 8. Systematic Chaos 9. When Dream and Day Unite (not a big fan of Dominici) 10. Falling into Infinity (very obvious why) I don't count A change of Seasons in because it was an EP, but that'd rank up between Train of Thought and Six Degrees
  • what??? WHAT???????

Awake is a MASTERPIECE!!!! And really, BCSL before Scenes from a Memory (which you incorrectly named)???

Man... the first three have gotta be Scenes, Awake, and Images in some order or other, and then do what you want. personally, i'd put train of thought pretty high too. And Systematic Chaos disappointed me at first but now when I hear it I like it more.

Anyway, sorry for freakin out there earlier, any DT fan is a friend of mine. Rock on!!

PS Infinity DOES have some gems

  • Just my opinion, this is how I rate DT's albums. Its pretty difficult to split them though. 1. Images and Words 2. Scenes from a Memory 3. Awake 4. Train of Thought 5. Octavarium 6. A Change of Seasons (technically an EP) 7. Systematic Chaos 8. Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence 9. Black Clouds and Silver Linings 10. Falling Into Infinity 11. When Dream and Day Unite
  • The piano melody is almost haunting.

  • JLB get's that last line really well.

  • ATM my favourite 10 DT tracks are as follow.. Just bought 4 of their albums today so am in love! (these are not in any particular order) 1. Surrounded 2. Waiting for sleep 3. A Nightmare to remember. 4. Learning to Live 5. Pull Me Under 6. Space-Dye Vest 7. Caught in a Web 8. Honor thy Father 9. As I am 10. In the Name of God I just cant go past Images and Words though. What an absolute masterpiece. Surrounded never ceases to send rushes of invigouration and energy through me. Thank you DT!<3
  • Images and Words has their best riffs in my opinion.

  • It's so hard to name a favorite DT track in my case. I love most of them wholeheartedly. Anyway, following dvsdez's example, my 10 favorite tracks would be (also in no particular order) 1. 6:00 2. The Glass Prison 3. Anything of I&W really 4. The Dance of Eternity 5. In The Name of God 6. Six Degrees - The Suite. 7. Octavarium - The Suite. 8. Honor Thy Father 9. Vacant, followed by Stream of Consciousness 10. Erotomania Although I love S.C. and B.C.S.L., they don't grab my attention as much.
  • Beautifully performed. It just makes it better when it's slowed down. Kinda gets the emotion more.

  • This song is beautiful, but the quality oft he video kind of sucks...oh well what can i ask for whn it's free? Great song!

  • Well, actually Dream Theater can fall under all sorts of genres, the only reason musicians even have a genre is so you know where to purchase them in a store, or what's they are similar to.

  • Agreed, most artists would rather not have a title!

  • To all the people who say Jordan ruined DT with technique and no emotion -

There's a song in SDOIT, "Disappear", with beautiful lyrics of LaBrie and melodies of the band, which people tend to ignore. Vacant, Goodnight Kiss, Anna-Lee, Misunderstood, those are all quiet songs that are great too, and as DT still play WFS, I don't think ballad-lovers should say such things about Rudess nor Sherinian.

  • Such a haunting and beautiful song. I hit the repeat button on my CD player and listen to this over anbd over. Images is one of my top 10 EVER best records.
