Tucker's buddy 'Squirt' did his mane in. Squirt likes to chew manes and tails... brat! Separated them for a time but all they did was stare at each other across the yard. So put them back side by side again. Friends till the end I guess. LOL
Squirt has some videos up here too. He's not such a 'squirt' any more.
This one is Little D's full blood brother Bill. He was such a little guy hubby and I just about literally picked him UP and put him in the trailer when we brought him home as a weanling. LOL
"L" hadn't seen him since the day we had him gelded (took him over to her Vet/barn for the operation). She asked for some pics so did this video for her instead.
He's my last baby horse to raise, after this one is started that's what I want to do. Just ride em and enjoy em from here on out. :~)
He's 3 Wild Bill, in fact I'm thinking almost 4. WOW Time flies!
So he's definitely old enough.
Got all his basics down pretty good with ground work so it really IS time to get this boy started.

His Momma has a mane that's thick, black and way longer than her neck. Tucker's grows fast too. Maybe Squirt will leave it alone and it'll come back soon. Bad Squirt! Seperated them for a time but they spent all day staring at each other from a distance so made them room mates again. They are such great friends those two.
Not sure if I'm gonna try to start this one Dea. We'll see, it's time to make the decision and get him going now. Time to learn to be a horse Mr Tucker.

Yup Tucker and Squirt are like 'Beavis and Butthead'. Playing sword heads all day over the fence, best of buds those two. Unfortunately Squirt has the reach advantage and gets the mane or the flymask every time. ARGH!
Split them up for a while but they were so sad without their pals made them 'room mates' again. Drives me NUTS finding hunks of mane on the ground out there.

Video from yesterday so that's it... 15.1, maybe 15.2 as he wasn't on a hard surface when I measured him.
He's old enough to start now. This one will be my last baby horse.

Shes on rest as usual. I dint get to see more closely her for a few weeks and shes dropped her weight alot so have to do something about that now. Shame hes your last baby would it be rude if i ask why. And how is your girl. Is she going well havnt seen any new footage of her for a little while.
Hope you figure out why Lady is losing the weight and get that fixed Gitte. You've done such a nice job with her.
We raised all the horses here except for Stetson. It takes years of feed and patience before they are old enough to ride, then of course, you've got to get them started under saddle.
At my age now I just want to ride them and enjoy them. LOVE the baby horses but would rather spend the years having fun out there. We sure have learned a LOT from these babies! It's all GOOD. :~)
This is the last baby horse for me. If we can get this one started and going good we'll be satisfied.
Hope my friend is pleased with what she sees in Tucker. Good condition, good attitude and doing everything pretty much 'right'. That's all you can ask from a youngster.
Time to get this one under saddle now. Then my job will be done.

@gershwin2 You shoulda met him before we made him a gelding! He was a handful of 'COLT' all right. LOL
Got his basics down and he does good for a horse that doesn't really know much.
Need to make the time to get him started under saddle and my 'breaking' days will be over. Tucker will be my last 'baby horse' to raise.

Filmed yesterday so it was warm enough out there, summer is making a come back. LOL
"L" had emailed wanting a pic she hadn't seen him since the day we gelded Tucker. He was a real terror that day quite the handful.
Thought we'd do one better and make "L" a video, send her the link. He's pretty much a gentleman now. LOL
Think "L" will be happy. Good solid feet, good manners, good condition. Can't ask for more from a youngster.
Only needs to be started now and I'm done. Hehehe!
