it is not all it is cracked up to be...I spent all of my twenties starving myself to keep my so called perfect figure...the truth is I at one point only weighed 118 lbs at 5'8 and wore a size 5 when I went up to a size 6/8 I was considered curvy...I struggled with thinking I am fat after I went to a size 10/12 and I still battle those issues I have to learn what beauty is again as an individual...now that I am in my 40's I finally believe I am beautiful so I think the fashion industry sucks,lol!

The problem with plus sized modeling is there is a gap between healthy and not healthy. Some of these women are too big, not just for modeling but for the safety of their health. Big can be beautiful, but healthy is the most attractive, not rail thin but also fit.

All the make up companies should use plus size women in their ads. Unfortunately only Cover Girl has done so with Queen Lateefah. Times have changed and the make up comanies should keep up with the times.

@ByeByeBelly yeah...it flippin sux! im not slightly bigger n all that AND im not of a wayyy smaller size! it suxx...i really would LOVE to model, but im either TOO short(5'8 drink milk..yes ive been told this! jerks!), TOO big (size 10/11 with curves, ass, alright breasts and a decent small waist) or TOO small(again size 10/11 not enough meat on my bones :/).....when are ppl just gonna get over it and allow NORMAL ppl to go after their dreams 2. crazii stuff if u ask me, and im over it.

i find it really wrong how they act like they are changing modeling by having plus size models. They are changing somewhat but it is unfair that certain woman or men can not model because they aren't taller. There are so many beautiful woman, and hardly anyone mentions how it is unfair that you have to be at least 5"8 to model. We should celebrate all heights and sizes, but mainly celebrate being healthy and strong.
