Actually it fits 600ml to the edge. Only the measurement scale that's go to 400ml.

Hi sorry for the late reply, to be honest with the coil ball the shakes are less lumpy etc but considering the size of this smartshake you wouldnt be able to have to coil ball so it wouldnt move around as much to benefit it. i would recommend going for the smartshake v2 or xl so the ball would have more room to move and break up the shake. hope that helps :)
