@VampireMiw he grew up in the Woodlands, TX. I currently live about an hr away. Woodlands is part of Houston, which being a highly populated part of TX, you wouldn't expect him to have an accent, but that's the best explanation I can come up with.

@shreadhead96 it's the same chord progression and it has a similar little bass/synth thing in the background (i don't know what it is exactly) The first time I heard the song i thought it sounded like 1901. I don't think they copied the song, i just think that the songs sound similar.
