Either the disk drive came with the case off or he either took out the Drive and you can easily take the cover off.

I have the same set up (clear case) I got the E68 error a few days ago. Which means its over heating, so I just disconnected the led lights and problem solved. I also modded the HDD with the clear case and messed it up. Now I have to press the HDD hard against the console to get it to receive a signal. Word to the wise Be careful with the HDD its a delicate piece of hardware...

Research it online....all "aftermarket parts" can be bought online, they mail, you put them in....the most difficult part for me anyway was gettin the case apart,(easier after you do it once, theres also vids on how-to)...if cutting ur stock case or HDD use a dremel tool, smooth with fine sandpaper. The LEDs for a HDD are custom, you must find power urself, red or yellow wire i can`t remember... Case LEDS are "plug and play" same with the extra fan(s).......I did my console myself.

if it is green it means you are connected to your internet. you may need to go to network settings and select the correct wireless network and input the web key located on you router

try to do it yourself. thats part of the fun. I would love to own an xbox like that, but would love to have set it up myself. Probably gonna make it like a christmas project. Get all the shit I need, ordered online or bought at a retail store, and just once i finish school, do a little bit of work any time im at home or im bored. would be awesome. I suggest u do the same instead of getting someone to do it for u. thats kinda weak

i mean my mom...lol said i could spend up 2 about 100 bucks and so far i hae baught the red aurora cooling fan and the red aurora lights i also go the ledlights for my controller but if i have 2 solder tht means i have got to go to a shop and but 1 i mean i got the leds for the guide button and the a,x,y, and b buttons but im really hoping that i dont have to solder

if youre doing the controllers you will definately need tosolder and if you didnt buy the premodded ring of light you will need to solder. thats why i didnt do that stuff, i dont know how to solder

thats why i didnt change the ring of light. because i had to solder. but i think you can buy a ney ring of light that is already done for you. all you have to do is just snap it in

remove the four screws from the top metal case of the disk drive, the take off that that metal cover, on the inside of the metal case you took off you will see a little circle with a "thingy" in it, you will need to take that out by removing the circle on top of the case, once you have the "thingy out of the original cover you need to put in the clear plastic cover you got with the ghost case the same way as it was in the original cover, cap it with the clear platic circle they gave you and

snap the clear cover with the "thingy" in it onto the disk drive. you now will be done, the orginal cover is of no use now,,,, any more questions send me a personal message

unplug the fan, then plug the lights into where the fan was plugged in, then plug the fan into the lights

the fan comes with an adapter for hdmi units

but that means you couldnt do the lights

and the case isnt for hdmi

but if you bought a case especially for the hdmi unit youd be ok

I just ordered the same two parts...in the future I'm getting the Aurora lighting kit, XCM 360 Deep Blue Core cooler, and blue twilightflow. You should look into buying those to keep your case a very nice blue.

the air flow will need to be drilled because the holw where the screw goes in is solid
