im from ohio and some of us drove out to oregon (not for astoria) we just happend to drive through there and i got an out of focus picture of the house cause i had no idea where it was,plus i got a some pics from cannon beach. 6000 mile round trip

I was in Astoria in November. I love it there and want to move there, however, when the rule is never sunny 3 days in a row, I think I'll keep it as a vacation designation and not Home :(....but I do love the town!!

I was just there! I saw the beach that One Eyed Willies ship sailed out on. Just about 4 days ago. It was amazing!

Where is the house from Free Willy? The one Jesse and his adoptive parents lived in? That view from that top room was unbelievable....you don't see much about Free Willy in this tours of sites where movies were filmed...where is it? Still standing?

I honestly don't get why they don't make this a bed and breakfast, or a restaurant at least -- maybe zoning regulations or something in the neighborhood, I dunno, but I bet they would have a pretty good and loyal customer base.

I went there a couple years ago. the owner lady was there outside doing yard work. me and my son went up and asked if she minded if we took a few pictures, she kinda grumbled yes, and went in the house, she seemed pissed.

i was there 2 days ago, "Luke" (who lives at the bottom of the gravel driveway) greeted us and we promptly tossed him a beer to which he replied "thats the 3rd one today!"

nobody was home, it wasnt very welcoming either =)

I was there in 2006 and there was keep out sign on the gate and a jewish symbol on the window.

It wasn't as welcoming as this video portrays it.

@movingzachb Yes, I was also there in 06' and this lady was there, doing yard work. I walked up and politely asked to snapped some pics and she looked very irritated and stormed off into the house. I took my pics, and left. And No, it was not near as inviting as this makes it seem. But maybe she had a bad day, who knows.
