  • Betty was a great star.

  • Napoleon the dog, the Sheriff of Nottingham, Luke the rat, Chief the dog, and much later the MC of Lester's Possum Park. Pat Buttram is a Disney legend.

  • Its such a crime that she never got her third oscar, but that doesnt diminish her amazing achievements that go way beyond the film world.

  • thank you so much for this, it really made my evening :)

  • This is such great stuff THANKS FOR POSTING!!!

  • Betty's smokin!!

  • isn't it sweet how Henry Fonda gives Bette a little kiss at the beginning? :) <3

  • I wish there were more roasts like this than the roasts today!!

  • Dean Martin was incorrect. Bette was nominated for

    an Oscar 10 times! Her nominations are for: 1. 1935 - Dangerous (1st win) 2. 1938 - Jezebel (2nd win) 3. 1939 - Dark Victory 4. 1940 - The Letter 5. 1941 - The Little Foxes 6. 1942 - Now, Voyager 7. 1944 - Mr. Skeffington 8. 1950 - All About Eve 9. 1952 - The Star

    10. 1962 - What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

For her performance in Of Human Bondage (1934),

she was a write-in candidate. Not an official nominee.

  • He is drunk as a skunk.

  • Pat Buttram is one of my most favorite deceased actors.

  • He played:

    Napoleon Bloodhound from Aristocats

Sheriff of Nottingham from Robin Hood

    Luke from The Rescuers

Chief from Fox & the Hound

One of the bullets from Who Framed Roger Rabbit

    and

The Possum Park Emcee from The Goofy Movie.

  • also was in back to the future part 3

  • He also played a part as one of the Farmers on an episode of Lucky Luke.

  • He was also Mr. Haney on Green Acres

  • I remember him voicing 3 or four disney charecters and he was great

  • Pat was my grandmothers cousin and had a great if a little saucy sence of humor. Great guy.

  • love her!

  • There is just ONE Bette Davis in this Life!

  • @Slowlondon Very true. Also just one Hitler, one Francis the Talking Mule, one prime number between 18 and 20, one Trenton, New Jersey, and one organ of the body which may be correctly diagnosed with prostate cancer.

  • @icaruspnw you don´t say that in the good sense or?

  • I LOVE PAT BUTTRAM! He, Jerry Orbach, and Jim Varney are my Idols!

  • @jvfunn3000 Pat Buttram is in fact awesome. He's one of my idols, too, along with Sterling Holloway, Alan Reed, and Timothy Bateson.

  • This is awesome! Thanks for the upload.
