the whole Movie of Chitty Chitty bang bang

  • And here She comes, to rescue Her family!! NOBODY messes with the people She loves!!! To this day, every time I see this movie, it brings me to tears of joy. Chitty's coming to protect and save Her loved ones,....and to save the day. Always will this Truly Scrumptious, magical Genie of a car hold a much loved place in my heart. This movie shows that one slightly off-kilter, crazy, zany inventor...or Magical Car...can change the world. I'm crying now as I write this. 4ever will Chitty reign

  • Revolution- complete. Thanks for posting.

  • I know this is an old flick but DAMN that chick is hot!

  • ok I'm a 30 year old straight guy...when chitty came through that castle door - i cried...i mean really hahah

  • @cdiciurcio What have your gender and sexuality got to do with it?

  • @captainpanic08 haha not a damn thing my friend!

  • She knew him for a day and a half, what a whore!!

  • @Artoveli did you get that line from the broadway show? cuz she does indeed say that :)

  • awsome

  • It's so weird seeing him kiss someone other than Mary [Tyler Moore] :( ...

But it was a great movie!(:

  • watched this second time after decades and realised only now that he had been telling a story all the time. Nice to be young and have imagination. I always thought Chitty could really fly and float and drive herself:) thanks for sharing!

  • The Captain & Lieutenant look defeat with out there big caps off

my two favorites in the move Peter Arne & Larry Taylor RIP

  • can't stop watching this luv this scene !

  • Chitty is the original KITT !

  • hehehe....... He called her '' The Scrumptious ''! :D

  • Truly: "Oh Mr. Potts hahaha, now you'll have to marry me!"

    Mr. Potts: "Hahahaha!"

Truly: "Hahaha..." (serious face) "I'm not kidding."

    Mr. Potts: O.O' "Oh sh**..."

  • @RexiiRen hahah! your comment made me laugh out loud! thats so funny! X

  • So......back in the day if you kissed a woman you automatically married her?!?!?!

  • The pictures come before the sound in this. When a person talks you see his or her mouth move before you hear words.

  • -looks around for something- "Here!" -hands a knight's armour a spear it grabs it- LOL XD

  • why do free standing stairs in castles never have guardrails?

  • They are such a Cute Couple:-)

  • I didn't know the Bulgaria part was just a story until just now. Damn, at the age of 20 and after so many views, I woulda thought that I'd figure that out. Gosh, it's kind of sad. My entire childhood I thought that really happened.

  • i love the car i love everything

  • what a great film:D

  • Benny Hill rocks!

  • This movie was awesome and still is my number one favorite movie it never gets old I've heard talk of a reboot I hope not because we all know holywood would just fuck it up plus you can't replace Dick Van Dyke come on now it's a classic lets leave it at that

  • One of my all-time favorite movies. Thanks for uploading!!

  • attacking from the rear, that's dashed unethical :L

  • excellent film je lai en francais et cest très original avec dyke van dyke et truly et les deux enfants et sans oubliés chitty lauto hourra et merci joelle

  • UGHH truely is GORGEOUSSS!! im jealousss!

  • god i loved this movie growing up. now i would love to drive chitty!

  • it was great

  • Wow..I forgot it was a story. Lol I really believed they had flown to another place. >__<

  • @Yakita60 Oh so most of it was a story. That's what I wondered. Just like in the Wizard of Oz where most of that movie is a dream.

  • Still the ultimate car and feelgood movie after all these years :-)

  • How much gas does this dam car have?

  • @nashognz As much as you take with it.

  • when it ends i cry

  • A mans got to keep his feet on the ground and his head out of the clouds...as they fly into the air...

I love how Truly always drives into a pond.

  • Ever wonder what they did to the child catcher after the rebellion ended?

Come on, someone give me some funny suggestions....

  • @DrPhilMusic Kept him in his cage and fed him only on lolli pops.

  • But if they get married she'll be called Truly Potts!

  • @Artoveli I remember Truly mentioning something like that in the stage show. XD

  • @Artoveli anythings better than being called 'Tuly Scrumptious'

  • @Artoveli

Not necessarily... some married women are given the choice ot keep their own names

  • @Artoveli I find it more amusing that if they get married she'll be Mrs. Potts xD

  • @Artoveli no, she'll be called Truly Scrumptious Potts :D

  • I've seen this movie a million times. this is the first time i noticed the boy on the side at 0:40 with the crown

  • And "weeeeee!" goes the Child Catcher =3

  • oh wait... it does fly at the end though... i forgot. haha

  • Sad thing is... makes you wonder... does the car really does those things? they never do say that it does not.... am i right?! :D

  • One of the best. Thank you for the upload!

  • these soldiers are pussies

  • @12212012Oo19

explains why there's no Vulgaria anymore...

    :)

  • So does the damn thing fly or not!!!!!

  • Ever noticed how the car doesn't have seatbelts. I mean, It's flying!

  • @thykothak then it'd be horrible is one of them fell out huh?

  • @GiniaWolvesAndHorses Funny of you to mention that. Anytime I watched the movie as a little kid, I often wondered what if Chitty had a trapdoor in her backseat.

  • Ever noticed that the car doesn't have seatbelts.

  • I've read lots of comments about films such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Sound Of Music no longer being made and today it's all just High School Musical styled crap and I 100% agree. But fear not because I'm training to become an Actor, Entertainer, Writer and Director and I intend to bring back things like this along with Old School Sitcoms, Kids Shows, Gameshows and Detective Shows. I'm gonna try my best and that's a promise.

  • I wish they made movies like this nowadays. Most movies revolve around romance, not that it's a bad thing, but it's also about sex and money. This movie shows that you can dream up anything, no matter how unpractical it is! We have lost this kind of creativity and I really wish that they made more movies like Mary Poppins or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! :)

  • Awwwwwwwwwwh. I thought it was real. Not a story... Bummer. =(

  • @OoOKrazyGirlOoO Technically, it's not just a story if you pay attention to the end when Caractacus and Truly get in the car. ;)

  • THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE. I have seen this movie countless numbers of times and it never ever gets boring.

  • At 07:53 I did not see wings span from the car to allow the car to fly. Is Chitty using "Disney Flubber" to fly (as in the Disney Movie "The Absent Minded Professor")? It appears so. Chitty uses Flubber.

  • Bang Bang Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Our Fine Four Fendered Friend !!!

  • This is one of my favorite parts of the movie; Chitty coming in to save her family, and save the day, as well. No one messes with Chitty's family!! I bawl like a schoolkid whenever I see this part. She's a true superhero in every sense of the word!!

  • Artillery, prepare to open fire!

    *chucks book at grandpa's army*

    FIRAH!

  • It would have been cool if the car form grease came in too.

  • This part disappointed me caus it was all just a story

  • Chitty chitty bang bang, Chitty chitty bang bang, we love you

Chitty chitty bang bang is a great car i've always dreamed since I was a kid to ride in Chitty and I guess dreams do come true!

  • i agree with whoever said worries can go away by singing. it was acctully unoffically proventhat you can extend (sort of) the life of a cancer patient with no hope of living by making them happy.

  • woah wtf... the marriage thing at the end is only akward because technically the love story between them never happened. :( oh well truly's still hot.

  • seriously when chitty comes through that castle door - a few tears came to my eye--wtf...go CHITTYY!

  • Comment removed

  • I really hate the ending.

Even though the story is pure nonsense its still awsome.

  • love it :D

  • My Sister and I made our Mum take us to see this 5 or 6 times when it came out :-)

  • "Ahh! My back is broken! *sobs*

"We must escape through the cellars!"

"*turns serious* Oh very well. Come on. Hurry up" Lol, gotta love Baron Bomburst.

  • Wonderful theme song.

  • Great movie

  • Really good movie enjoyed it after not seeing it for about 10 years Good idea putting it on Youtube rated 10/10 :D

  • i always think the thing at the end when they are actually flying means it was all real.....or was it??? hmmmm....

  • Comment removed

  • LOL she's always driving into the pond

  • thanks for posting this

  • Wait, I realized something. Lord Scrumptious marketing the "Toot Sweets" as candy for dogs ties into the song "The Roses of Success": "Each abysmal failure makes a point!". Because the dogs were attracted to the whistling, they'll get the candy! So "up from the ashes, grow the roses of success" with Caractacus!

  • i just watched the last part of this film and it´s now my favorite movie!!!

  • Lionel Jeffries, who played Grandfather Potts, was actually only 42 when "Chitty" was filmed and actually 6 months younger than Dick Van Dyke, who played his son. He played the same sort of eccentric geezer character the year before as Sir Pellinore in 1967's "Camelot."

  • Sir Robert Helpmann, who played the part of the Child Catcher, was a very accomplished ballet dancer who had danced with Margot Fonteyn and Martha Graham. You can see how well he dances and skips in this role; he was able to do so even though he was nearly 60 years of age at the time. He had a rather odd look to him, however not as odd as he was made up in the film.

  • I cried when Chitty came from nowhere to save the family! :( XX

  • Bestest movie of all time. One movie i can tire of no matter how many times i watch it. Where chitty flys off at the end is the best... so she really is a magical car

  • i love the end it maks me bit better. p.s. thank you

  • i remember the movie totaly diffrent lmfao

  • The new Vertical Take off and Landing Chitty Chitty, haha. What a wonderfully timeless movie! Thanks for uploading!!

  • i just love this movie and can never get fed up of watching it!! Thanks soooo much for uploading!! I used to watch it over and over again when i was a child!! brings back soo soo much memories!! thankyou!

  • thank you for uploading

this means a lot to me =]

  • I haven't seen this in years and years. I still love it.

  • Yeah, If it only were that simple, All Worries Go Away Just By Singing. ...

  • @jokermpr i think tht worries can go away by singing. ever tried having a bad day and singing good songs. it makes you feel soooooooo much better. especially chitty chitty bang bang songs. i dont know. thts how i feel about it

  • it really annoys me when you remember its just a story

  • @SPARKULES I know! I'd completely forgotten over the course of the movie XD

  • @SPARKULES But they fly in the end!!

  • @SPARKULES it's not a story *winks*

  • @SPARKULES of course its just a story. The kids wanted to hear a story about pirates.

  • Why is she so insulted at the end? All he was saying is that they lived very different lifestyles and hence marriage may not work because of that. I always assumed that she knew it very much could work despite their differences and felt he was being negative and not wanting to give it a chance. Or maybe she felt like he really didn't like her enough.

  • This vehicle was called a "skiff" because of it's wood exterior. These cars were made by people called "coachbuilders", as I am one for 27 years. These vehicles were from the "brass era" because of the large amount of brass used. These days are truely scrumsiously gone. . . unfortunately.

  • that was cold.

  • This fine movie brings back memeories to us adults I wish I was a kid again. Sally Anne Howes was gorgeous in this film and she looked so pretty as the doll on the music box - Ive just fallen in love with her all over again and I`m a 40 year old male.

  • heck im only 18 and it brings back so many memories for me. i was raised watching movies like this and anne of green gables. I love them

  • I loved the Anne of Green Gables movies too.

  • haha i think she did good acting like a dall

    Go Green.

  • God, I love this movie.

This one is really special to me because this was THE first musical that I ever saw. It never gets old! Thank you so much for posting this!

  • This is really awesome movie!!

  • that kiss at the end was soo cute!

  • always get the tinkly in my chest with those kiss, like in the sound of music and such! *blushes*

  • @bigydoune Same here! Just like in Sound of Music, the romance is innocent, yet passionate, it warms the hearts of children and adults equally. I still feel a swell in my heart when I watch both love stories unfold. It is also encouraging to note that both couples are brought together by their shared love of the children, not the nonsensical, empty drama and shameless physicality of today's romances...

  • wat a wonderful movie :(

  • You Know What I Never Understand About This Film Why He Stops Singing And Keeps Starring At The Mirrors In The Doll On A Music Box Scene I Get So Confused

  • I think he was confused, too.

  • I think he got confused with the Double images those 2 mirrors provided-Has any of U people ever been thru A MIRRORED FUN-HOUSE?-What it is-Its series of MIRRORS SET UP LIKE A MAZE ON BOTH SIDES,And Most case people go thru 1rst time get Just As confused as that doll when he was looking at his 2 reflections,Theres not too many amusement parks left standing that has 1 OF 2 types FUNHOUSES(Or both left-(1) MIRRORED FUNHOUSE-Just what name says=)p Very EZ 2 get lost in (2) ROLLING BARREL-CRAZYSTAIR

  • Actually, most amusement parks I've been to recently have all of those things. They're cheap tricks but they still draw a pretty good crowd.

  • Really?Which amusement parks?-Some of the old amusement parks on EAST COAST got torn down, and I heard few others over the years in other state got torn down as well-Very sad to such places that GENERATIONS of familys goes to gets torn down BY GREEDY REALITORS FOR CONDO that loses more money in less years than Amusement park had

  • aah-dorable

  • @Queen90BoyGeorge45

    don't forget the ending though!

  • wohoo go kids!!!

  • I guess as pertains to Chitty & all the stuff she does, especially when she drives into the castle, I guess the Police were right when they said "Every Little Thing She Does Is magic.".; Lol.: :) .

  • wth

  • How Chitty drove herself into the castle, I still don't get it to this day...: How'd she do that?!

  • She's a magic car, simple as that! ;)

  • Obviouslly...: Lol.
