@patcism I would look on the net to see who is doing the best deal as I live in the UK and not sure who sell in your area. Although the newer XH-A1s is out you can still buy the older version on Amazon. If you are new to filming the XH-A1 is definitely not a beginners camera and is not ready to shoot straight out of the box as Canon ship the camera with all the settings set as neutral. You have to go into the custom presets and tweak the settings to get the look you are after. PM me for more.
You can download the presets on the link below. Save the presets to your SD memory card then put the card into your Canon XH-A1 and toggle through them using the custom preset buttons on your camcorder. All preset names are viewable using your viewfinder or LCD screen.
Where do you think the best place to get the XH A1 is? I will be buying on in the next few months.

Cant add the link for presets so type in google canon xha1 presets then go to dvinfo.net
