teegarscott....Torihope is right. Jesus is the son of God and God's real name is Jehovah which the tetagramaton text rendered as YHWH. (YAWEH). When you equate the son and the father u are saying in essence that Jehovah at some point also died. Its his son that dies to redeem us back to Jehovah God
