  • I lost u at blah blah blah..

  • This guy is amazing. his ignorance is blissful, his lack of understanding progress is profound.

  • The bible is a load of crap. I will take darwin and science over stone age rubbish written by got herders any day.

  • @assym2006 You claim to follow the science, but its the science that's questioning what Darwin said. Goat That way you express yourself seems typical of many who don't really engage with the details of science. That goes for the Bible too.

  • @DonswatchingtheTube

not real science only fools like this one , religious fools.

  • Comment removed

  • @DonswatchingtheTube Guess what , DARWIN IS DEAD ! His ideas are 150 Years out of date, of course scientist question what he said, that is what scientists do. Try and keep up with science.

  • @gregrutz What are you talking about? A true scientific statement would not be out of date. Newton on gravity, Mendel on genetics, Pasteur on pasteurisation refuting Abiogenesis. The reason Darwin's theory is being questioned is because it fails to answer the true test of real scientific enquiry. I'm up with the science, its you that need to keep up.

  • @DonswatchingtheTube You have never studied science have you? Newon on Gravity>> Einstein proved he was wrong. Mendel on genetics, He didn't even know about DNA. Pasteur proved spontaneous generation was not possible, that has nothing to do with Abiogenesis.

Darwin answered the question of ''Origin of Species' by means of ''Natural Selection''.

He was wrong about 'gradualism' because he did not know about the 6 major mass extinctions that happened on the earth, the last one 65 million y/a

  • @gregrutz Try jumping out of a window on the top floor of a building and see if Newton's laws on gravity has been disproved. :) It works in the Earth's atmosphere. No one is saying it applies in every situation. Mendel laws on hereditary are still acknowledged today. DNA only makes it more likely that Darwin's was incorrect about his theory. Explain its origins. Pasteur showed that life comes from life, if you know of any exception to this let me know. Otherwise you're only exercising faith.

  • @DonswatchingtheTube YEA, and Charly Darwin bull shitted people into 'believing' in evolution.

    .

    ''DNA only....'' proves>

Endogenous Retroviruses (ERVs) are lingering remnants of failed viral infection, which occurred in an ancestor's sex cell and got propagated in its offspring. The viral insertion site is completely random and finding one in the same location in two individuals indicates they each had that same ancestor. Humans and chimps have 98,000 ERV in the exact same location

  • One Paradigm shift that still hasn't fully come to terms with is the desire to personify everything we don't understand. We try to superimpose our nature on the unknown, to make it easier to cope.

"When we find contrivance there must be a contriver."

    Case in point.

  • I like this interview because Campbell, having no particular religious angle to advance, exposes the strong metaphisical and pseudo-religious underpinning of Darwinian theory. He demonstrates that far from being objective science consistent with evidence, Darwinism is rooted in the pressuppositions of a by gone Victorian culture. This kind of well argued position puts the fear of God into the Darwinian devotees.

  • @IDtaksovr fear of God into the Darwinian devotees.

    LOL

Because of some crap from a communication teacher?

  • Copy + paste this into 5 different videos if you love god!.

"and the truth shall set you free" - John 8:32

every intelligent atheist should ask themselves these questions:

if carbon dating is accurate then why does water, when put under carbon dating show the earth to only be hundreds of years old?

why does atheism have the highest suicide rate out of any religion?

if you believe in god and die and god isnt real than you lose nothing, if you deny gods existence and die you go to hell

  • @Aepotheosis Atheism is NOT a religion douche-dick... Religion requires buying into Cock-poop... Besides, if suicide is their choice, then you don't have a damn say about it... For many of us, death is better than having to deal with people like you... And while I'm at it, stop asking us questions that we don't know the answer to... ask a scientist... or are you afraid they'll be able to answer you correctly and you'll be forced to find other mouth-jizz to lay on?

  • @champjklccmk jesus god atheism really IS the easiest religion to troll

  • @Aepotheosis How very christian of you... Did you're mother teach you how to troll while she fucked your uncle? Or was it your dad/brother while he fucked you sister? Cuz being an inbred offspring is the only explanation that comes to mind when someone simply cannot grasp the most basic of concepts...

  • @champjklccmk lmao. There's no way you're this stupid. Nice try

  • @Aepotheosis What, assuming that you're an inbred lump of meat? If arriving at the most logical conclusion is being stupid, then Newton and other scientists are super idiots...

  • @champjklccmk pffthahahaha

  • @Aepotheosis Did you just post the sound coming out of the hole in your head? No, not the obvious holes...

  • @champjklccmk you really think I'm a Christian. lmao

  • @champjklccmk You do realise that ad hominem attacks are the WEAKEST form of debating

  • @Gilbertus1986 dude, this was like, five months ago... I was having a bad day and this guy's post just struck some sore chords... I never expected to gain anything by this anyway...

  • @Aepotheosis Bullshit. All these "hell" idea was born from pagan traditions. Bible itself says there's no afterlife. "The Dead are conscious of nothing, nor receive more wages, and have nothing to do under the Sun" - Ecclesiastes 9:5,6

Anyway, as an atheist, do you do prefer spend you limited time "fighting ignorance" than partying? 'Tis most strange..

'Tis must be the reasons atheist are suicidal a lot. Their lives are empty and they can't find what to do.

    Soooo sad.

  • @SturmFuhrerx fart

  • If wasn't for the propaganda taught in schools, propaganda in the media, who in their right minds would believe in Darwinism or NeoDarwinism? This is a process of life based completely on accidents (intertwined with the survival of the fittest-how did the fittest get here, by accident? HAHAHAHA). I don't have the answers to life, neither does Darwin with his BULLSHIT, and the BULLSHITTERS that keep alive the BULLSHIT.

  • This guy is neither pro nor con with respect to Darwinian evolution. He's a rhetorician, only concerned with the nature of the argument. This is a video about literature, not science or origins. It's important to remember that the philosopher speaks on the truth of an argument while the rhetor discusses the construction of the argument.

  • If we take in our hand any volume; of divinity or school metaphysics, for instance; let us ask, Does it contain any abstract reasoning concerning quantity or number? No. Does it contain any experimental reasoning concerning matter of fact and existence? No. Commit it then to the flames: for it can contain nothing but sophistry and illusion.

    - An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding

  • Cesar Philosophe, instead of telling people to educate themselves becuase they don't agree with your preconceived notions, why don't you try and define science for me if it isn't simply following the evidence where it leads? I've debated and put guys like you in the trash can on too many occasions to keep banging my head against the brick wall. You're arrogant enough to think I am uneducated because I call Darwinism exactly for what it is. This man is absolutely right about Darwin's Magnum Opus.

  • 4:40 is the point where he "unmasks" Darwin.

  • There is an atheist liberal connection.

When I found out that almost ALL of the "intelligent" men who believed in a naturalistic explanation of such staggering complexity and digital codes being written from random errors, were in fact mostly LIBERALS

It all started making sense. I noticed in my teen years the people that made decisions based on how things made them feel, rather than what was intellectually honest, all had one thing in common. liberalism. i.e. controlled by feelings

  • Curse you all gravitists. Teach the controversy.

  • More people from the discovery institute? Disappointing, I'd expect better from UCTV.

  • Are you prejudiced?

  • Discovery institute is the Galileo for the evolutionist church

  • Comment removed

  • I think that Dr Campbell is being consistent to the base approach of ID in introducing extraneous viewpoints to scientific procedure. I find it entertaining to see the sort of odd things that happen when one applies unrelated disciplines such as theology or rhetoric to science. I look forward to the reality show.

  • That no other theory makes sense is not sufficient to validate anything. Particularly when this thing is by construction not susceptible to be falsified, but an ideology using scientific methods in some disconnected parts and making the non-sequitur whole dressed up with scientific shreds. Religion and Ev.Theory are on the same plane, they are Visions. The difference being that the last claim to superiority is by means of a zealously adherence of a new "en vogue" symbolic rag.

  • What would you do if Science could discover the origin of life on this Earth?

What would you do if Science could discover the origin of the of the Universe?

What would you do if the answer Destroyed God and Allah and all Deities born from ignorance?

What would you do if the answer Destroyed Muhammad and Christ and all prophets of ignorance?

What if Science discovered that we have but one life to live and when we die we are gone forever!.

Would you be thankful for your existence?

  • What would you do if Science had discovered that there is something more than matter?

Something like that you have a soul.

    .

  • it a contradictaion in category if "science" (what ever that mean) discover that there is a "soul" (again).

than this soul is matter, by the very fact that science had discovered it.

i can't see, smile, touch or sense electrons either.

if science would discover that something within me can survive my death, hold memory and part of personality, i would be very happy.

    but i probably do nothing.

even if there is some weird cosmic force.

the idea that he want us to be good is a caveman parody.sorry

  • Soul is not mater, so the discovery of the soul would mean that there is something more than matter.

Are you ready for something like that?

    .

Seems that you don't want to believe.

    Why?.

  • if i can sense it. than it is matter.

it might be a new kind of matter(doesn't construct of elementary particles, doesn't have mass, never destroy, i accept that) but it's still matter. (sense-able) i'm more than ready, i'll be excited for it. i do want to believe!, it is my deepest wish that the world is like it, but i struck by reality. anyway. if there is a god, i have no reason to be afraid of me. i can't see why the master of the universe will be discontent about a little man like me.

  • thank you for the reply texoki.

and i ment to say "him"

"if there is a god i have no reason to be afraid of him"

  • We should only be afraid of those that do not love us.

  • mscolombos : if i can sense it. than it is matter.

    .

    Love is matter?

  • we don't sense love directly.

what we sense is the implication of love.

she treat me with care and love, therefore she love's me. if she would scream and threat me with a kitchen knife, she might still love me.

but i'll differently not sense it.

    (sorry for the graphical description)

  • and because of this, because we cannot sense it directly , it is not matter.

it have something to do with order and timing, but i don't want to force reason to it.

as i like it unexplained, the way it is.

i accept what you say about fear and love, and i it struck me with wisdom.

  • *definitely

    and i'll sense it differently.

  • As I Remarked earlier this may present an "Insuperable" difficulty for some scientists of materialism bent, but the facts remains, and demostrated by research that nonmaterial mind acts on material brain"

Norman Cousins interviewing Sir John Eccles, Nobel Prize NeuroPhysiologist

Commentary in "Nobel Prize Conversation" 1985 p. 66

  • Eccles and Robinson discussed the research of three groups of scientists ..

all of whom produced starling and undeniable evidence that a "mental intention" preceded an actual neuronal firing - thereby establishing that the mind

is not the same thing as the brain, but separate entity altogether"

The Wonders of Being Human: our Brain and Our Mind, 1984 pp. 156-164

  • @BrightlyEvolving "Thankful" to who?

  • @MrMZaccone Why who?

    More like what.

    That what is called circumstance.

  • @BrightlyEvolving How do you "thank" circumstance?

  • @BrightlyEvolving Then you would have met God face to face. At this stage you will be beholding His glory. Yet there will still be an eternal life of questions you would never have even thought could be asked.

"Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?" Job 11:7

  • @BrightlyEvolving What would you do if these questions confirmed God's existence?

    I'm thankful for my existence.

  • Five hundred years from now when Christ and Muhammad and other prophets of ignorance have passed into obscurity Charles Darwin will still be hailed as the man who set us on the path towards the real God....... TRUTH

Christ walked on water but we have walked on the moon, Christ turned water into wine but we have taken the heart from one person and transplanted it to another. The real God is Greater than we have yet imagined!

All it takes is COURAGE to understand we control our own destiny.

  • Well said!

  • You can not even control your tongue

  • he control his tonuge alright pardon you

  • BrightlyEvolving : Five hundred years from now when Christ and Muhammad and other prophets of ignorance have passed into obscurity

    .

Voltaire profetized something like that and now there is a Bibilcal Society in the house where he lived.

    .

Darwininsm is the biggest joke of history.

    .

  • BrightlyEvolving :

Christ walked on water but we have walked on the moon, Christ turned water into wine but we have taken the heart from one person and transplanted it to another. The real God is Greater than we have yet imagined!

    .

Christ feed 5.000 with 5 breads and 2 fishes, after dinner they recovered 12 basquets full of bread

Christ had the power to forgive sins

    Can you forgive sins?

    .

  • this view is very dangerous, no one should make TRUTH their god. for they will become beasts.

Muhammad christ and mosses teach us a lesson in how to be human. let's leave science to science and moral to moral.

  • There can be no Morality with God.

  • @BrightlyEvolving

Wrong. There is no god in my life and I am a very good person, treating others the way I would like to be treated. I have only one life and I don't want to mess it up.

  • @BrightlyEvolving

Sorry bud, I misread your comment.

  • @BrightlyEvolving 2000 years Christ is still going strong. I'll stick with the 'Creation' 'ID' side of the argument, its much stronger. Charles Darwin is already waning after just 200 years. If a level playing field is given to all sides of this argument, via TV/Media, press, publishers, he will be forgotten in the next 50 to 200 years by the preceding generations.

The internet have been very useful in getting alternative views on this man and the broader theory across to the general public.

  • @DonswatchingtheTube

what total crap. so your view is 'The fairy's did it' LOL what rubbish

  • @assym2006 ...And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2Timothy 4:4. You seem ignorant in your argument. The more we study Darwin's claims and the more complexity we find, the less likely it becomes acceptable to believe what he believed. You could believe it if you want. I don't!!! It all sounds like tall stories to me. The evidence points to teleology. Dawin's theory needs the rhetoric to pass itself as real science. Many are seeing through it.

  • @DonswatchingtheTube

o and it is so much more realist to say a sky fairy did it. what rubbish.

  • @DonswatchingtheTube There are over 250,000 peer-reviewed scientific studies on evolution, with full support from every related life science, including genetics. There has not been a single falsification to refute evolution in 150 years of relentless scrutiny!

It is the backbone of Biology, accepted by all scientists.

  • Interesting.

  • This video raises many important questions.I'm not against evolution per se as a possibility, but there's no conclusive evidence on the matter, but full of rhetoric enhanced speculation combined in a multiform system that by construction metastatic itself to evade any question. it's full of paradoxes and large empty stretches lacking plausible explanation,It has become an ideology and an intellectual fetish that is turning more aggressive at each passing day and on the verge of fanaticism..

  • Could someone resume evolucionism better than you?

  • In all actuality, evolution is not fanatism. Religious crazies are constantly attacking it or making it their mission to make into something evil. That being said. I have done a lot of reading about evolution and based on the facts, no other theory makes sense. If you believe everything was designed then all you have are a bunch of meaningless facts and must think a designer purposefully made it LOOK as if things have evolved. Strange designer there.

  • Removing your evolutionist glasses, you would see things differently.

  • @SigWanderer ''no conclusive evidence'' ??? Endogenous Retroviruses (ERVs) are lingering remnants of failed viral infection, which occurred in an ancestor's sex cell and got propagated in its offspring. The viral insertion site is completely random and finding one in the same location in two individuals indicates they each had that same ancestor. Common ancestor or rhetoric?

  • Interesting.

I think that this man is sincere...he believe that dogmatism is unhealthy for a real education and university environment.

He would, I am confident, be delighted to find that many of the classic examples used by those whom object to evolution, like the eye, has in the modern day and age been shown conclusively to be a product of evolution. I would urge him and others to update their knowledge of biology.

p.s. Morality/Ethics need not be dependent on the existence of God.

  • " So what reason do you have for uctv not posting them."

I meant to put a ? here sorry.

  • "A fair result can be obtained only by fully balancing the facts and argument on both sides of the each question." -Charles Darwin

Posting vids against Darwinism (like this one) would be following what Darwin himself said. So what reason do you have for uctv not posting them.

  • Considering this guy is an expert rhetoric, I shall take his advice and stop when I feel cheated.

  • Questions of purpose in nature were not discredited by Darwin. Who is this guy?

  • If you mean divine purpose, perhaps not discredited but made superfluous.

  • Actually Darwin's point, and the point communicated in many biology textbooks, was that man had no purpose or direction aka materialism.
