And we're well on our way now to not actually "owning" any kind of media. Having all of your data "in the cloud" sounds quite Orwellian to me. You won't have absolute control of usage, let alone access. And what happens when the cloud goes BOOM!?
Trying to market to the 20-30 somethings who don't usually have much say in what direction the company goes. The cloud does have some door protection that keeps some things safe however more need to be done to make sure it is safe.
This is lame advertising getting kids to do consultant-speak. People who forward links to material like this should use a bit of their judgement being respectful the time of others. I felt mislead since I arrived at this commercial from a posting on a LinkedIn discussion. We all find kids cute when they discuss "adult topics", but come on.
Is it scripted? Of course it's scripted ... Accenture Communications wouldn't do anything without a script. When the kid says, "how big do you want it to be?" in response to the question, "how big is the cloud?" ... that is classic consultant-speak. Nevertheless, it's a great video.
Nice vid, Great work, though, with BPs catastrophe still fresh in memory, I wouldn't use "Energy companies use the cloud to monitor pipelines" as a cloud advantage.
Great! Another 'corporate-salesy' video showing some extraordinarily geeky kids (unless it's scripted) describing the cloud. Why try and tell businesses that only a select few in the future will understand it?
they don't explain how all your information is saved on private servers and owned by companies that don't actually cares about your interest... humm... the cloud is kind of a good thing, but it needs a lot to be really good for a company to work with :S
@nachoijp first of all the data is not owned by the companies that store your data and they have to care about your interest because it is an subscription based model that let customers leave at anytime they want

Aww SoccerDudeACW, missing the point totally! There are countless anodyne colips and articles out there if you want the serious stuff.

I like the video - the key part comes at the end: ... do you know retail before ...? They don't.

Excellent job in producing a corporate video which was fun to watch and help deliver a complex topic in a simple fashion.

Well consultants are people who tell your right hand to do what your left hand does. CON-sultants. They live up to their name.

I've always suspected that Accenture Technology Experts were kids with no experience, it's good to finally see proof.
