Novacek is better than Jackson, and Eric Green should be 4th.

Greg Townsend and Richard Dent should be 4th and 5th in the defensive linemen.

Millard and Byrd should be the other way round.

Fulcher is the best Secondary, then Woodson, Haddix, Ronnie Lott and Richard Johnson.

I hated stopping Anderson more. But a lot of credit goes to Muster and the O line bumpin you. Okoye was awesome to play with, but I always felt he fumbled more than his ball control would suggest and it felt like he always got injured.

He was great at what he did, and that was lay you the hell out and put fear into you like someone said earlier, he was a pro bowl safety. Intercepting is not all things, you could get 2 a year and still be great on coverage and tackling etc., int's are not everything.

to prove this, try using Jets' Mcmillan....and then try Miami's Oliver...

They both have the same RS, RP, MS, but Mcmillian has 81 quickness verses oliver's 56 quickness.

You will notice NO diffence, "speed" wise.

Bob Nelson, he was the man, easily was the most dominating defensive player in that game. My only beef is with the DB's, my top 4 would be Deion, Woodson, Lott, and Fulcher. But I know Haddix (and Gill Byrd) always got lots of picks.

These comments are hilarious and depressing at the same time. We have people citing Quickness ratings (which do nothing) and complaining about SOME d-linemen and linebackers are fast (when every defensive player is faster than every offensive player). And that's just on the first 2 pages.

Actually, it's been proven that Quickness does nothing in the game. Either the programmers accidentally used the wrong value for something or decided not to bother with it. RS/RP/MS control the speed.

The problem is youre just adding up the numbers to determine who the best are, but lots of it is meaningless (i.e. rushing power for NT's). Jerry Ball is a much better NT than Nelson, and Dent is a better DE than Long or Doleman (Quickness is GOD for defenders). As for DB's I wish you wouldve separated them into 2 catagories (CBs & safties), because some very good ones are left out (Lott).

BTW, they are at LB because TSB only allowed for a 3-4, so one down lineman of a 4-3 team would be shifted back) I recall Charles Haley also being a monster (that mighta been the SNES version though...)
