  • hey thanks for the video!

I'd like to know how you constructed your tower. Is that PVC and if so how did you get such lovely depressions for the plants to emerge?

Also, where are your worms in this setup?

  • @itsneweryork there is another video on youtube that shows how to build this try a search for strawberry tower. Use sewer pipe and a saw and a heat gun with a pair of gloves.

  • @marthale7 Great yea I found that after. Thanks! But I'm still curious as to how your worms play into this?

  • @itsneweryork I have both Black Soldier flies and red wiggler worms in the bed. They are used for composting all that I do not eat out of my other grow beds.

  • very nice

  • Vermiponics, didn't know that Bro, use those strawberries for wheat grass smoothie ...okay now you got me researching Vermiponics thanks Bro

  • @ashtweth Hi guy, I have heard very good things about wheat grass, but I normally make moringa / spirlina + goat whey + brewers yeast + frozen banana + almond milk + frozen strawberry shakes :-) Vermiponics is just using worms instead of fish as in aquaponics.

  • it may get to wet! Try a lamp timer to reduce the watering schedule. Letting the medium/soil to dry out is always a good thing. You may have mold, and root rot issues with a wet soil... GOOD LUCK

  • @InventorGorilla Hi, ya I have a timer for a backup plan if I need to limit the flow of water. Since the soil can drain well, and there is such a tiny amount of water that gets there each time, I think it should be ok. Time will tell. cheers
