Drugs and contraband have been an issue for several years. but it has never been out of control in this form before (at least in Mexico). From what I hear from Mexican citizens is that the laws are also not working. People get out of jail for violent crimes in a few yrs even months. Some reform in the laws need to be made to be able to detain these criminals for a LONG time. That along with God knows what else.

regardless if pot was legalized, the drug cartels would still be fighting each other on who will be the dominant seller. Plus if weed was legalized it would pose the same problem as alcohol does now, car accidents, addiction, brain damage etc. People will always love the feeling of being numb, but people don't know how to stop, if marijuana does become legalized, the next drug that would become widely used behind closed doors is cocaine. Drugs and contraband have been an issue for several years. but it has never been out of control in this form before (at least in Mexico). From what I hear from Mexican citizens is that the laws are also not working. People get out of jail for violent crimes in a few yrs even months. Some reform in the laws need to be made to be able to detain these criminals for a LONG time. That along with God knows what else.

Understand why there has to be things like the income tax. If people were left with any disposable income, they could simply light up a joint anywhere & take the ticket. Then when a massive amount of people ground the courts to a halt with simple possession tickets, the courts themselves would be forced to set precedence. This is the basis of common law. If the vast majority of people are doing something that's currently illegal & doesn't impact others, it's made legal through precedence.

HO come on! Why SCHOOL did not report this kid to social services that he was missing school clases.
